AJA System Test alternatives
AJA System Test is suited to production and postproduction teams that need to judge whether a drive system can record and play back particular resolutions and codecs. It measures drive read/write speed and throughput, including network mapped drives, and its configurable interface covers test type, drive, video size, frame rate, file size, and connected video device. Results can appear in MB/sec or FPS with graphs, while reports can be exported as text, PDF, or SPX. The full version also evaluates PCIe bandwidth. It is free on macOS and Windows.

Readers may look elsewhere when they need broader hardware coverage, component-specific benchmarks, creative tools, rendering scores, or live monitoring. AJA System Test has no comparison database and no CLI or automation, and its workload centers on storage and device I/O. When switching, weigh whether you need CPU, GPU, graphics, compute, rendering, productivity, or monitoring measurements; compare supported platforms, result-sharing features, automation, and any paid tier before choosing.
