Logseq alternatives
Logseq is a free, privacy-first, open-source workspace for knowledge management and collaboration. It combines PDF annotation and task management with notes, keeps Markdown or Org-mode files on your device, and works offline across Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows, and the web. Block references, backlinks, linked references, and queries connect information, while plugins and themes extend the workspace. Note sharing, real-time collaboration, Zotero integration, and encrypted note syncing cover additional workflows.

Readers may seek another tool when Logseq’s evolving features or collaboration model do not fit. Its public-beta Sync cannot let multiple people use one graph simultaneously, and the maker warns that data loss can occur. The database version is beta, while the new mobile app and real-time collaboration features are alpha, also with a data-loss warning. Personal use is free; Sync Backer costs $5 a month and Sync Sponsor costs $15 a month. Compare each alternative’s editing style, integrations, storage, platforms, offline access, collaboration, and price with Logseq’s local-file and linked-note approach.
