Instead of ControllerBuddy
ControllerBuddy alternatives
ControllerBuddy focuses on flight-simulator control from a gamepad. Its profiles convert inputs into keyboard, mouse, or virtual-joystick actions, with modes for alternate assignments, an overlay for active states, and an on-screen keyboard. It supports Windows and Linux, several Xbox and PlayStation controllers plus SDL-supported devices, and community profiles for DCS World and Microsoft Flight Simulator. Its free, open-source distribution includes per-app profiles and profile switching.

An alternative may fit better if you need macOS or iOS support, desktop-wide mappings, MIDI or system controls, gyro aiming, or a different virtual-controller target. ControllerBuddy cannot assign mode actions to multi-button combinations or nest modes, cannot merge its two triggers into one rudder axis, and does not promise backward compatibility across rolling releases. Compare operating systems, controller coverage, output types, profile behavior, and specialized controls before moving your setup.
