Instead of Fastfetch
Fastfetch alternatives
Fastfetch gives terminal users a configurable snapshot of operating-system, hardware, software and firmware details. More than 75 modules cover components such as processors, graphics, memory, storage, batteries, TPM, audio and Wi-Fi. JSONC settings, an editor schema, shell integrations and media queries support customized displays, while ASCII and protocol-based image rendering add visual context. It is free, open-source software for Windows, macOS, Linux, BSD and Android through Termux, with package-manager and download installation options.

An alternative makes more sense when you need focused diagnostics, structured infrastructure facts, sensor tracking, process control or network indicators instead of a terminal summary. Fastfetch does not describe driver troubleshooting, malware removal, persistent email alerts or interactive process management. Its shell-startup warning also matters: unconditional output can interfere with SCP, SFTP and other non-interactive sessions. Weigh operating-system coverage, reporting formats, monitoring depth, integrations and whether specialized workflows matter more than customizable terminal presentation.
