Instead of Armory3D
Armory3D alternatives
Armory3D combines a free, open-source 3D engine with a Blender add-on and SDK, giving Blender users a unified development workflow. Game behavior can use Haxe or visual logic nodes; the engine also includes a UI editor, physics, navigation, animation and a scriptable renderer with deferred and forward paths. Its export targets span desktop, mobile, web and consoles. The setup guide calls for Blender 4.5.x LTS and says Blender 3.3 LTS and earlier are unsupported, a constraint to consider if your current Blender setup differs.

The alternatives differ in project scope, scripting languages and publishing targets. Godot supports both 2D and 3D, while Construct 3, GameMaker, GDevelop and Cocos Creator list JavaScript or TypeScript among their scripting options. Some alternatives charge for access or publishing: Construct 3 and GameMaker have paid plans, while GDevelop's free plan limits Android and desktop publishing to once per day. Compare target platforms, the role of visual scripting, and whether a Blender-centered workflow suits your project before switching.
