Instead of BinEd
BinEd alternatives
BinEd is a free, open-source binary and hex viewer and editor for Android, Linux, macOS, Windows, and the web. It displays hexadecimal and text alongside binary, octal, or decimal views, and supports Unicode and other charsets, insert or overwrite editing, text or hexadecimal search, highlighted matches, undo and redo, scripting, plugins, and byte-for-byte comparison. Its Java application also runs on BSD and other Java 8-or-later platforms, with integrations for several development and analysis tools.

An alternative may suit you better when you need a narrower workflow or specialized analysis. BinEd's search-and-replace support is partial in the editor application; the maker also notes possible freezes after many large modifications, memory leaks, and delta-mode corruption when another application changes the files simultaneously. Android's very-large-file support uses partial file mode. Compare whether you need local browser processing, terminal controls, reverse-engineering analysis, disk and sector editing, scripting, or Minecraft world visualization, then match those needs to each product's operating systems.
