For authoritative LoL Worlds 2026 results, open Riot Games’ official Worlds Standings page and use its separate Play-Ins Bracket, Swiss Bracket, and Knockouts Bracket tabs. The Swiss view shows each series score plus explicit ADVANCES and ELIMINATED sections. Refresh it before relying on a standing: event-day results can change within minutes.
The key rule is simple: a team reaches the knockout stage after its third match win and is eliminated after its third match loss. That is a Swiss match record, not three individual games inside one series. The guide below explains which bracket to open, how to read records such as 2–1, what the remaining scenarios mean, and why the quarterfinal path cannot be treated as final until the post-Swiss draw.

Where can I see the official Worlds bracket and scores?
Use Riot’s Worlds Standings page as the results authority. Its overview separates the tournament into three tabs, so select the stage you actually want to follow rather than treating every displayed bracket as one continuous tree.
- Play-Ins Bracket: the opening four-team qualification stage.
- Swiss Bracket: the 16-team stage that determines the eight knockout qualifiers.
- Knockouts Bracket: the quarterfinal, semifinal and final tree.
In the Swiss tab, read both the series-level score beside a matchup and the dedicated ADVANCES and ELIMINATED areas. Those labels are more reliable than a social-media graphic or a stream overlay when you need to know whether a team has actually qualified.

How is the 2026 Worlds tournament bracket structured?
Worlds 2026 has 19 entrants overall, but only 16 teams start Swiss. One team comes through the four-team Play-In, so the Play-In bracket is not the same competition as the eventual knockout bracket.

| Play-In | 4 | Double elimination; best-of-five series | One team advances into Swiss |
| Swiss | 16 | Up to five rounds; Riot labels Swiss series Bo1/Bo3 | Three match wins; eight teams qualify |
| Knockouts | 8 | Single elimination; best-of-five series | Win each elimination round to reach the final |
The different formats matter. Play-In uses double elimination and produces one Swiss entrant. Swiss is a record-based stage in which teams can advance or be eliminated before all five rounds are played. Knockouts then become a conventional eight-team single-elimination bracket.
Why the Play-In bracket is easy to misread
A Play-In loss does not use Swiss’s three-loss rule, because Play-In is a separate double-elimination bracket. Conversely, a team appearing in the Swiss tab is already part of the 16-team Swiss field, regardless of whether it entered through a regional allocation or won Play-In.
What does a Worlds Swiss record such as 2–1 mean?
A record such as 2–1 means two Swiss matches won and one Swiss match lost. A team advances when it earns its third match win and is eliminated when it suffers its third match loss. The record counts matches or series, not the individual games that make up a series.
- Three wins: qualification for the eight-team knockout stage.
- Three losses: elimination from Worlds.
- Up to five rounds: a team stops early once it reaches either threshold.
Riot’s Swiss rules draw opponents after Round 1 from teams carrying the same match record. Rematches are not allowed during Swiss, while same-region matchups are permitted from Round 2 onward. A record therefore tells you a team’s qualification position, but it does not identify the next opponent by itself.

Do best-of-one, best-of-three and best-of-five change the record?
Those labels describe the length of a series. A Swiss 2–1 standing still means two matches won and one lost, even if one of those matches was decided in a multi-game series. Riot’s primer labels Swiss as Bo1/Bo3, Play-In as Bo5 and knockouts as Bo5, but the cited primer does not provide a game-by-game series-length table for every Swiss pairing. Check the current competition rules before assuming a particular Swiss matchup’s length.
What were the official standings at the latest observed snapshot?
The official Swiss bracket observed at 20:22 UTC on October 29, 2026 showed four teams already advanced and two eliminated. This is a dated observation, not a permanent standings table; reopen Riot’s page for the current state.
| Team | Displayed status | Record shown | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dplus KIA | Advanced | 3–0 | Reached three wins without a loss |
| Gen.G | Advanced | 3–0 | Reached three wins without a loss |
| T1 | Advanced | 3–1 | Reached the three-win threshold |
| Invictus Gaming | Advanced | 3–1 | Reached the three-win threshold |
| Team Secret Whales | Eliminated | 0–3 | Reached the three-loss threshold |
| Anyone’s Legend | Eliminated | 0–3 | Reached the three-loss threshold |
The same snapshot displayed BLG–TES, CFO–KC, TLAW–LOS and G2–HLE as uncompleted Round 4 pairings. A 0–0 beside one of those pairings meant that no result had been entered for that matchup at the time of observation; it was not a final score.
Which Swiss records still qualify, and which results eliminate a team?
Use the threshold rules rather than trying to predict a named team’s path. The following examples remain valid even as opponents and live standings change.
| Current record | If the next match is won | If the next match is lost | Qualification meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2–0 | 3–0 | 2–1 | A win qualifies immediately; a loss leaves the team alive |
| 2–1 | 3–1 | 2–2 | A win qualifies; a loss creates another do-or-die match later |
| 1–2 | 2–2 | 1–3 | A loss reaches three defeats and eliminates the team |
| 2–2 | 3–2 | 2–3 | The final Swiss match is decisive: winner qualifies, loser exits |
How to read a 2–0 team’s next result
A 2–0 team needs one more match win. Winning produces 3–0 and immediate advancement. Losing produces 2–1, which is not elimination; the team receives another Swiss match.
How to read a 2–1 team’s next result
A 2–1 team is one win from qualification. A loss changes the record to 2–2, leaving the team alive but requiring a later win to reach 3–2.

How to read a 1–2 team’s next result
A 1–2 team cannot afford another loss. Winning creates a 2–2 record and another chance; losing creates a third defeat and ends the run.
Why 2–2 is a true elimination match
At 2–2, the next result resolves the team’s tournament. The winner reaches 3–2 and qualifies for knockouts; the loser reaches 2–3 and is eliminated.

How are Swiss opponents drawn?
After Round 1, Riot draws teams against others with the same match record. That is why a 2–1 team cannot be assigned an opponent simply by looking at the overall bracket order. The draw must first group teams by record and then respect the no-rematch rule.
Swiss rematches are prohibited, but same-region meetings are allowed from Round 2. Therefore, a team’s region does not guarantee protection from another team from that region. Until the draw is made, describe the next opponent as undetermined rather than publishing a projected pairing as fact.
When are the remaining Swiss rounds and knockout stages?
Riot’s 2026 schedule places Swiss on October 23–26 and October 28–31. The primer lists the October 29 and 30 Swiss days as starting at 3 p.m. CDT and October 31 as starting at noon CDT. Those are stage start times, not guarantees that a particular series will begin at that exact minute.
| Stage or event | Scheduled date | Published start information |
|---|---|---|
| Swiss Stage | October 23–26 and October 28–31, 2026 | October 29–30 at 3 p.m. CDT; October 31 at noon CDT |
| Quarterfinals | November 3–6, 2026 | Check the live event schedule for each series |
| Semifinals | November 7–8, 2026 | Check the live event schedule for each series |
| Final | November 14, 2026 | Check the live event schedule for the broadcast time |
Use the stated CDT time zone and convert it to your own location rather than silently treating it as local time. The schedule identifies when the stage begins; delays, breaks and preceding matches can shift an individual series.

When is the quarterfinal draw, and why is the knockout path not settled yet?
Riot schedules a new quarterfinal draw after Swiss ends on October 31. The two 3–0 teams are drawn against two of the 3–2 teams. The other four qualifying teams are drawn into the remaining two quarterfinal matches.
That constrained draw means an apparent bracket path before October 31 is only a projection. Do not announce a quarterfinal opponent, a complete 3–2 qualifier list or a finished knockout bracket until Riot publishes the post-Swiss draw.
What does “qualification for Worlds” mean before the event?
Some readers use “qualification” to mean earning a place at Worlds from a regional league, while others mean advancing from Swiss to knockouts. These are separate questions.
For entry into the 2026 event, Riot allocated three places each to the LCK, LCS, LCP, LEC and LPL; two places to CBLOL; one conditional berth to the MSI champion; and one extra berth for MSI’s second-place region. That totals 19 entrants.
| Allocation route | Places | Condition or scope |
|---|---|---|
| LCK, LCS, LCP, LEC and LPL | 3 each | Five leagues, 15 baseline places in total |
| CBLOL | 2 | Regional allocation |
| MSI champion | 1 | Conditional invite; the champion must reach its home region’s playoffs to retain it |
| MSI second-place region | 1 | Additional regional berth |
Once the event starts, regional allocation no longer decides who reaches the knockout stage. The Swiss three-win/three-loss rule does.

No. Riot’s Pick’Ems page is for predictions and rewards, not the authoritative results bracket. At the observed snapshot, Swiss picks were marked locked and knockout picks were shown as upcoming. The live Pick’Ems page is the right place to check prediction availability, while the Worlds Standings page is the place to check scores, records and qualification.

How should I track Worlds on an event day?
- Open the official Worlds Standings page. Start with the stage tabs and select Play-Ins, Swiss or Knockouts.
- Choose Swiss Bracket when following qualification. Read the team’s match record and look for the explicit ADVANCES or ELIMINATED label.
- Check the matchup row. Distinguish the series score from the team’s overall record. A displayed 0–0 on an unplayed pairing is not a completed result.
- Classify the team’s position. Three wins means advanced, three losses means eliminated, and any intermediate record means the team remains in contention.
- Wait for the next draw before naming an opponent. Same-record grouping and the no-rematch rule determine Swiss pairings.
- Refresh after each completed series. If you publish or share a status, record when you observed it in UTC or another clearly stated time zone.
- After October 31, switch to the Knockouts Bracket. Use the official quarterfinal draw rather than a pre-draw projection.
What common bracket mistakes should you avoid?
- Mixing stages: Play-In is a four-team double-elimination qualifier, not the eight-team knockout bracket.
- Confusing games with matches: Swiss records count match wins and losses, not the number of individual games won.
- Treating 2–1 as automatic qualification: A 2–1 team is one win away, but it is not advanced until it reaches three wins.
- Calling a 0–0 final: An uncompleted pairing can display 0–0 before a result is entered.
- Assuming same-region protection: Same-region matches are allowed from Round 2.
- Guessing the next opponent: A record alone does not determine the draw.
- Using Pick’Ems as a scoreboard: Predictions and rewards are separate from official results.
- Publishing stale standings: Include the observation time and refresh the official page before making a claim.
Can I use a no-spoiler bracket interface?
A third-party LoL Esports Hub describes a no-spoiler bracket that reveals results as you watch. It can suit viewers who want to avoid seeing outcomes in advance, but it is not endorsed by Riot and should not replace Riot’s page for official scores, rules or qualification status.
For a definitive answer about whether a team advanced, use Riot’s ADVANCES and ELIMINATED sections. Use a viewing interface only as a presentation preference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can same-region teams meet during Worlds Swiss?
Yes. Riot’s rule prevents repeat opponents, not same-region matchups. From Round 2 onward, teams from the same region can be drawn together if the record grouping and rematch restrictions allow it.
Why does the next Swiss opponent sometimes remain blank?
Swiss pairings are drawn after results create the next record groups. Until that draw is completed, the bracket cannot identify a valid opponent without risking a rematch or an incorrect record pairing.
Does a 0–0 score always mean a series was canceled?
No. On Riot’s bracket, 0–0 can simply be the placeholder for a scheduled matchup that has not started or has not had its result entered. Check whether the pairing is listed as completed before interpreting the score.

Use Riot’s live Pick’Ems page rather than relying on an old schedule announcement. The observed page labeled knockout picks as upcoming, and an exact opening hour was not displayed there.
Should I convert the published CDT start time to my local time?
Yes. Riot’s schedule is stated in CDT for the cited Swiss dates. Convert it for your location, but allow for breaks or earlier matches because a stage start is not a promise that a specific series begins then.
