The Wolf Among Us Remastered is available to buy digitally now on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One (playable on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility). What platforms is The Wolf Among Us Remastered on?
The currently purchasable versions are Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One. The Xbox One version is identified by Telltale as playable on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility; that does not establish a separate native Series X|S edition. Nintendo Switch is announced for a later release without a date.
Windows PC: Steam or Epic Games Store
Both verified PC routes sell the Windows edition. Steam lists Windows 10 and 8 GB of RAM among its minimum requirements. The available evidence establishes a Windows build, so do not assume that a native macOS version is included simply because the game is sold digitally.

PlayStation 5
Buy the listing identified as The Wolf Among Us Remastered for PS5. Do not select the original PS4 game when you intend to purchase the remaster. PlayStation’s launch price display depends on PlayStation Plus membership and on whether the account owns the qualifying digital PS4 version.
Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S
Xbox Store is the purchase route. Telltale says the Xbox One release plays on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility, so a Series owner should look for the Xbox listing rather than waiting for a separately announced Series X|S SKU. Xbox also shows cloud play, but a game purchase is required; it is not a free streaming entitlement.

No. Telltale’s October 29, 2026 launch notice says, “The Nintendo Switch versions will follow at a later date.” It gives no release date, and there is no currently purchasable Switch or separately confirmed Switch 2 edition to cite.
Earlier announcements placed Switch in broader launch plans, but the latest notice supersedes those timings. If Switch portability matters more than playing immediately, wait for a dated store listing rather than purchasing an unverified code or assuming that a current PC or console license transfers to Nintendo’s platform.

How much does The Wolf Among Us Remastered cost?
The announced US digital list price is $24.99. At launch, Steam, Epic Games Store and Xbox display a $19.99 offer; PlayStation displays $19.99 for PlayStation Plus members, while the listed nonmember price is $24.99. These prices were published for the October 29 launch and should be checked at checkout because stores can apply regional pricing, tax and different end times.

Telltale’s launch-discount notice gives the date window and warns that exact prices and end times vary by store and region. Check the final total immediately before confirming payment.
How do I get the original-owner discount?
The discount is tied to owning the original game digitally on the same platform account, not merely to having played it or owning a physical disc. Telltale lists 50% off for eligible digital owners on Steam, Epic and Xbox. On PS5, eligible owners of the digital PS4 game receive 50% off with PlayStation Plus or 30% off without Plus.
- Identify the account that bought the original digitally. Sign in to the same Steam, Epic, Xbox or PlayStation account. A different account on the same console or computer normally will not expose the entitlement.
- Open the Remastered product page in that store. Steam shows an eligible-owner price on the product page; Epic and Xbox apply the discount at checkout; PlayStation displays the qualifying price on its store page.
- Verify the percentage and final amount. On PS5, check whether PlayStation Plus is active because it changes the eligible discount from 30% to 50% for qualifying PS4 digital owners.
- Buy only after the entitlement appears. Do not pay the full price expecting the store to refund the difference automatically.
Original physical copies do not qualify for this offer. Telltale also says some eligible owners are not seeing the correct price and directs them to its support process at Telltale’s launch-discount page. Keep the original purchase account, platform and order information available when requesting help.

What is the exact buying process on each platform?
Choose the hardware you will actually use, then buy from that platform’s official store. A purchase on one ecosystem does not establish a license on another.
Steam on Windows
- Open the Steam listing for The Wolf Among Us Remastered.
- Confirm that the page identifies the Windows PC version and review the listed minimum requirements, including Windows 10 and 8 GB RAM.
- Sign in to the account that owns the original digital game if you expect the 50% owner discount.
- Check whether Steam shows the $19.99 launch offer or the lower eligible-owner price on the product page.

This is an updated release of Bigby Wolf’s original story, not The Wolf Among Us 2. Is Remastered required before The Wolf Among Us 2?
No. Telltale plans The Wolf Among Us 2 for 2027, but it does not make the remaster mandatory. Signing into a Telltale Account while playing Remastered can carry defining choices into the sequel; players who skip Remastered can establish their past choices when starting the sequel.

That makes the purchase a choice about revisiting or discovering the first story, not an access key for the upcoming game. Buy it for the five-episode season and its extras rather than because you believe the sequel will be inaccessible without it.
When will physical editions be available?
Telltale plans physical Remastered editions on multiple platforms in early 2027. Its launch notice does not yet identify the exact editions, retailers, preorder dates or final regional availability.
