After a forced shutdown, check whether the console itself shows any warning before opening the game. If other titles also fail to start or the HOME screen remains unstable, document that wider pattern instead of repeatedly power-cycling only for Sword of the Sea.
2. Update system software

Could a microSD Express card be causing the crash?
Possibly, but isolate storage before buying anything. Nintendo’s recommended comparison is to remove the microSD Express card and install the game in internal system memory.
