Friendship quests and moving in
Friendship is more than a conversation meter. Shared tasks and relationship quests can create concrete changes in the community. In Wald’s early PS5 account, one friendship objective involved a friend moving in. That is evidence that a move-in outcome can occur in that account, not a guarantee that every character follows the same route or that every household arrangement is available.
Romance and dating activities
Romance is offered alongside friendship. Seed Sparkle Lab’s 2026 launch announcement says 19 NPCs receive additional three-heart and five-heart quests, and that 14 romanceable characters gain more dating activities. Those are the developer’s announced launch-content counts, not an independent character census. Dating is therefore a meaningful progression branch, but the exact activity list can differ by character.

Marriage should be treated as unconfirmed for the PS5 information available here. Wald’s account did not observe a marriage option, so it is accurate to say marriage was not seen in that account—not that the game can never contain it or add it in an update. Players seeking a long-term partnership should rely on the documented friendship, heart-level and dating systems rather than assuming a wedding endpoint.
A 2025 developer statement from technical director Goltan Gao expressed an ambition for NPCs to have distinct personalities and long-term goals. That explains the studio’s design direction, but statements made before launch should not be read as proof that every proposed memory or branching behavior is present in the released PS5 build.

How much can you build on PS5?
Confirmed building focuses on a countryside home, gardens, a villa-style residence and broader island decoration. You gather materials, make items and then use them to shape living spaces and outdoor areas. The store also describes gathering and building together online, so cooperative players can contribute to a shared creative project.
That does not establish unrestricted structural construction. The available descriptions do not promise free-form terrain editing, arbitrary architectural blueprints or the ability to rebuild every island structure. A safer expectation is a decorating-and-development system with defined home and island features. Start with the areas the game explicitly exposes, then expand as profession goals and quests unlock additional options.
