Soulstonia took part in Steam Next Fest from October 19 through October 26, 2026. Its free demo remains playable on Steam for Windows and macOS, with no playtime or progression cap, until the planned December 10, 2026 Early Access launch. Demo saves are expected to carry into Early Access, making the current build a substantial preview rather than a short timed trial.

The demo is scheduled to remain playable until Soulstonia enters Steam Early Access on December 10, 2026. The developer has announced that the Early Access game will be free to play.

Play Act I and complete more than 15 quests
Act I is playable in full enough to include more than 15 quests in the Grasslands. Story quests for the later regions are reserved for Early Access, so reaching those areas does not mean the entire campaign is available in the demo.

Every new save creates a different version of Soulstonia. Village, road, resource, enemy, landmark and point-of-interest locations can all change, so starting a new world can produce a different route and gathering plan.
Train skills, gather materials and craft gear
More than 20 core and hybrid skills can be trained to level 99. They span combat, collection and crafting. The demo also lets players gather resources, craft equipment, fight enemies, use Magic and Summoning, and collect Soulstones.
Unlock a second Summoner
Completing Act I unlocks a second Summoner. From that point, two Summoners can adventure together within the demo, giving you another way to divide exploration, combat or resource work.

How does Soulstonia’s hands-on and idle play work?
Soulstonia is built around changing your level of involvement. You can directly control a Summoner, assign idle goals, or leave Summoners to handle routine work while you concentrate elsewhere.
- Direct control: steer a Summoner through exploration and combat yourself.
- Assigned goals: set an objective and let a Summoner work toward it.
- Idle activity: Summoners can gather, craft, fight, collect loot and train skills without constant input.
This is a switchable play style rather than a permanent mode. You can intervene when a situation needs personal control and return to automation for longer resource or skill-building tasks.
Will Soulstonia demo progress carry into Early Access?
The developer says demo saves can transfer into Steam Early Access, which is planned for December 10, 2026. Existing Soulstonia playtest saves were also stated to transfer automatically into the demo. Keep the save files associated with your Steam account if you want the best chance of preserving that progress when the launch build arrives.

Is Soulstonia available on Linux or consoles?
The announcement lists the demo for Windows and macOS only. It does not confirm a Linux, PlayStation, Xbox or Switch version, so players on those platforms should not assume compatibility.
Does every new Soulstonia save have the same map?
