Does the KLF01BLAU have temperature control?

Actual time will vary with the amount of water, starting temperature, altitude, mains voltage and whether the lid is fully closed. Filling only what you need will always finish sooner and use less energy than boiling the full 1.7-litre capacity.

The metal shell can become hot during and immediately after boiling. A Ceneo owner specifically listed the hot exterior as a drawback. Use the handle, keep children away as the manual instructs, and avoid touching the body or setting it where someone may brush against it. The automatic shut-off prevents continued heating, but it does not make the shell cool instantly.
What safety features are included?
The KLF01BLAU switches off at 100°C and also shuts off when it detects that no water is present. These functions reduce the risk of continued dry heating, but they are not a substitute for normal supervision. Keep the lid closed while heating, do not exceed the maximum mark, and place the base on a stable indoor surface.

The manual limits use to heating water and says the appliance is for domestic indoor use. Keep children away from the kettle and its cord. Before cleaning, unplug the base and wait until the kettle is cool. Never immerse the kettle, power base or cord in water.
How do you clean and descale the KLF01BLAU?
Routine care is uncomplicated because the limescale filter is removable and the heating element is concealed. The filter catches scale at the spout; it does not eliminate scale inside the kettle, so periodic descaling is still necessary in hard-water areas.

- Remove the stainless-steel limescale filter according to the manual’s instructions.
- Rinse the filter and wipe the interior with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use scouring pads that could damage the finish.
- Descale the kettle using the method and product concentration specified in the KLF01 manual for your region. Do not substitute detergent, bleach or other non-approved chemicals.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water before the next use, then refit the filter securely.
- Wipe the painted exterior, chrome parts and base with a damp cloth and dry them; keep water away from electrical contacts.
