The fan-assisted refrigerator should cool shelves more evenly than a purely static compartment, but air circulation works best when food is not packed tightly against the rear wall or internal outlets. Those are family-level features, not proof that every FAB32 suffix has identical equipment. Confirm the exact FAB32LBENA1 manual, control layout and drawer arrangement before treating a feature shown on a newer FAB32 page as included on this model.

The exact-model specification reports claimed energy use of 323 kWh per year and an energy rating of 3.5 stars. CHOICE recorded those figures in its 2020 test record. The number is a standardized annual claim, not a guarantee of the electricity meter reading in every kitchen: ambient temperature, loading, door-opening frequency, temperature settings and ventilation all affect actual consumption.
To estimate running cost, multiply 323 kWh by your electricity tariff and then adjust your expectations for local conditions. For example, a tariff quoted in cents per kilowatt-hour must be converted to the same units as the annual figure before multiplying. Do not transfer an energy label from a current FAB32 variant to the NA1; newer variants can have different ratings, dimensions or capacities.
The 3.5-star label is useful for comparing appliances sold under the same regional labeling scheme, but labels are market-specific. Check the label supplied with the exact unit in your country, especially if the refrigerator is imported or old stock. For a quiet kitchen, install the cabinet level, fit the supplied condenser spacers and ensure the rear and sides are not pressed against surrounding surfaces. A new unit can make temporary sounds while refrigerant pressures settle after transport. Persistent rattling, scraping or a compressor that never cycles off should be investigated through the manual and the seller’s service channel rather than dismissed as normal operation.
