To save a WooCommerce product table as a PDF, use a table-wide print workflow: WooCommerce Product Table with Print, PDF, Email by PrintFriendly, or wpDataTables’ built-in PDF button if that is what creates your table. For a PDF of one product, use a product-PDF extension instead; for an order invoice, use the browser’s built-in Save as PDF or Print to PDF destination. These are different jobs, and choosing the matching route avoids exporting the wrong content.
Which WooCommerce PDF workflow fits your job?
Start with what the PDF needs to contain: a catalog table, one product’s details, or an order invoice. The export method depends on how that content is produced; a product-page PDF button is not the same as a table-wide export.

- Build the catalog table. Create the multi-product table with WooCommerce Product Table and identify the WordPress page where visitors should view it.
- Install and activate Print, PDF, Email by PrintFriendly. Configure its button so a visitor can open the print-friendly view.
- Put the product table on the page. Copy or insert the WooCommerce Product Table shortcode or block into the page that will display the catalog.
- Add the PrintFriendly control. Insert the
[printfriendly]shortcode above or below the table, then save or update the page. - Test as a visitor. Open the page, use the PrintFriendly button, and inspect the print-friendly view before saving. How do I export a wpDataTables table to PDF?
If wpDataTables creates the table, enable Table Tools and its PDF button rather than adding a separate table-print workflow. The button generates a PDF and opens the browser’s Save dialog, with layout choices for orientation and paper size.
- Open the wpDataTables table configuration. Enable Table Tools and make the PDF button available for the table.
- Choose the page layout. Select portrait or landscape and a supported size: A3, A4, A5, Legal, Letter, or Tabloid.
- Check what rows are currently visible. If the table uses server-side processing, the PDF contains only visible rows. Apply the intended filters and pagination, and confirm the displayed rows before exporting.
- Click the PDF button. The generated file opens the browser Save dialog; choose a location and filename.
- Review the saved file. Confirm that the pages and rows match the intended table view before distributing it.
Visibility is a material limitation when the table is paginated, filtered, or server-side processed. Do not assume that the PDF is a complete export of every product: the documented behavior for server-side processing is that only visible rows appear.

How can I create a PDF for one WooCommerce product?
For a single product sheet rather than the whole catalog, Print Products for WooCommerce adds PDF buttons to shop and product pages. Administrators can decide who sees those buttons, whether guests are allowed, and which product information appears in the PDF.
- Button access: Set which users can see the PDF buttons and whether guest visitors may use them.
- Product details: Choose from information such as price, categories, tags, reviews, attributes, descriptions, and QR codes.
- Placement: The extension adds buttons to shop and product pages, so this is a product-level workflow rather than a table-wide catalog export.
Choose this route when each PDF should describe an individual product. If the reader needs a list of many products in one document, use a table workflow instead.
How do I save a WooCommerce invoice as a PDF?
A WooCommerce invoice is an HTML document, and WooCommerce’s invoice documentation says it can be saved or printed as a PDF. Open the invoice and select the operating system’s PDF destination in the print dialog.

- Open the browser’s print dialog.
- On Windows 10 or newer, choose Microsoft Print to PDF. On macOS, choose Save as PDF.
- Save the file, then open it to check that the invoice content is present and readable.
This workflow saves the invoice as a PDF; it does not create a product catalog table or a one-product marketing sheet. The intended document type matters when choosing the method.
What should I check before sharing a WooCommerce table PDF?
Preview the document and verify its scope before sending it to customers or colleagues. A PDF can faithfully represent only the content and rows made available to its export workflow.

A WordPress.org changelog for Product Table for WooCommerce records export feature additions for PDF, XLSX, ODS, XML, HTML, JSON, and CSV. Those changelog entries establish that export formats were added as features, but do not establish performance, fidelity, or behavior for every current setup. Check the documentation for the specific table plugin and version you use before relying on a particular export behavior.
Why might a PDF contain fewer products than expected?
The clearest documented cause is server-side processing in wpDataTables: its PDF contains only visible rows. Check the active filters and pagination, then export again after making the intended rows visible.
For other workflows, inspect the print-friendly preview and saved file rather than assuming every screen element will be included. PrintFriendly removes unsuitable interactive elements from its print/PDF layout; a search box, for example, is not retained as an interactive PDF control.

How should you choose between a table, product sheet, and invoice PDF?
Use the source of the content and the reader’s purpose to decide. Catalog comparisons need a table-level export, individual product information needs a product PDF, and transaction records need an invoice PDF.
- Choose WooCommerce Product Table plus PrintFriendly for a visitor-facing multi-product catalog that should open in a print-friendly view.
- Choose wpDataTables Table Tools when wpDataTables already produces the table and its PDF layout controls and visible-row behavior meet the need.
