Lady Dimitrescu is officially returning to Resident Evil—but the confirmed comeback is a costume, not a newly announced story role. Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem Digital Deluxe Edition includes a cosmetic that transforms protagonist Grace Ashcroft into the towering vampire from Resident Evil Village. The available announcement does not establish that Alcina Dimitrescu has been revived as a canonical character in the plot.
Is Lady Dimitrescu coming back in Resident Evil?
Yes, in a playable cosmetic form. The Lady Dimitrescu outfit is included with the Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition and changes Grace Ashcroft’s appearance during play. Nothing in the reported announcement confirms a new story appearance, resurrection or other canonical continuation for Dimitrescu.

That distinction matters because the costume is an edition bonus rather than evidence that the narrative has brought back the character from Resident Evil Village. Capcom’s reported package description identifies the item as a costume, while no story details are attached to it.
Is Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Requiem as a character or a skin?
The confirmed item is a skin-like cosmetic for Grace, not a separately announced playable or non-playable story character. The report describes Grace being transformed by the costume; it does not describe a Dimitrescu campaign mission, dialogue scene or canonical return.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Should you buy the Deluxe Edition for Lady Dimitrescu?
Buy it for the cosmetic and the other bonuses only if those extras justify the premium over the standard game for you. The evidence supports a visual transformation for Grace, not additional Dimitrescu campaign content, so expectations of a full character return would be unsupported.
