- Record whether the console obtains an IP address, reaches the internet, and reaches PlayStation Network.
Interpret the results by layer:
- No IP address: the PS5 is not establishing a local network connection. Check the selected Wi-Fi network or the Ethernet connection before investigating licenses.
- IP address obtained but no internet access: the console can reach the local network, but the router or internet connection is failing.

Use transaction history as an ownership check
For a digital purchase or add-on connected to the disc game, transaction history can confirm which account made the purchase. If the item is absent, you may be signed in with a different account than the one that owns it. Do not purchase the same item again until the account discrepancy is resolved.
How do I restore licenses on PS5?
