There is no permanent Pokémon Center London store to visit on October 30, 2026. The Pokémon Company International says a permanent London store is planned and is currently scheduled to open by 2029, but it has not announced an exact opening date, address, opening hours, booking process, queue policy, or accessibility arrangements. If you are planning a trip now, do not travel expecting to visit the store. Check the latest official announcements before making plans for a future visit.

Is Pokémon Center London open yet?

No. As of October 30, 2026, there is no operating permanent Pokémon Center physical store in London. Pokémon Support says that it does not have physical stores in the regions where it operates; a separate support page, updated August 14, 2026, explains that the company operates regional websites, including a UK website, rather than physical retail stores in those regions.

That distinction matters when searching for visitor information. Search results, photographs, maps, and social posts may describe a former temporary pop-up or a past event shop. They do not establish that a permanent store is open now. There is no current London store to enter, no current public visit to book, and no permanent-store schedule to use for a day out.

The latest official announcement, published October 21, 2026, says a permanent physical Pokémon store is planned for London and is scheduled to open by 2029. That is a planned opening boundary, not a confirmed opening day. The announcement does not give a specific date or say when additional visitor information will be published.

What is confirmed about the future London store?

The confirmed information is limited but significant: the planned store is in London, it is intended to be a permanent physical retail space, and the current schedule is to open by 2029. The company describes it as the first permanent physical retail space for the Pokémon brand outside Asia. Its announcement says exclusive merchandise and one-of-a-kind experiences for Trainers of all ages are planned.

Visitor question What is currently confirmed
Is there a permanent store open now? No, not as of October 30, 2026.
Where will it be? London, United Kingdom. No street address or venue has been announced.
When will it open? It is scheduled to open by 2029. An exact date has not been announced.
What will be there? The announcement plans exclusive merchandise and fan experiences; individual products, activities, and operating details are not yet specified.
What are its hours? Not announced.
Will visitors need reservations? No permanent-store reservation or walk-in policy has been announced.
What accessibility provisions will it have? No permanent-store accessibility statement has been announced.

Gaku Susai, Chief Product and Experience Officer at The Pokémon Company International, said the company hopes the store will be a place where people can come together, feel part of a community, and enjoy Pokémon in a new way. That describes the intended experience; it is not a guarantee of particular events, facilities, opening arrangements, or services.

What should I do before planning a visit?

For now, treat a visit as a future possibility rather than a bookable London attraction. The practical approach is to wait for official details, then plan around the actual location and visitor rules instead of assuming that a past pop-up’s arrangements will apply.

  1. Do not travel to a presumed store location. No permanent-store address has been announced. A past event venue, shopping centre, or address shown in an old post is not a confirmed location for the future store.
  2. Do not book a visit around an assumed opening date. “By 2029” is not an exact date. Until a specific date is published, it cannot tell you whether the store will be open on a particular day, during a holiday, or during another London event.
  3. Check the latest official announcement before committing. Look for the announcement that supplies the address and visit details, not only a headline announcing the plan. Opening date, hours, ticketing or reservation requirements, and any temporary restrictions may be communicated separately.
  4. Wait for the venue and access information if you have specific needs. Once a venue is named, check its current access information as well as the store’s own guidance. Do not infer entrance, lift, seating, queue, or mobility-equipment arrangements from another venue.
  5. Keep travel plans flexible until visitor details are published. If the store is a central reason for a trip, avoid treating an unannounced opening day, booking slot, or walk-in visit as guaranteed.

These are not extra requirements imposed on visitors; they follow from the information that is still missing. Until an official address and opening date exist, there is no reliable basis for mapping a route, choosing a nearby hotel, calculating a queue, or scheduling the store between other activities.

What will the opening hours be?

There are no published opening hours for the permanent London store. The October 2026 announcement gives a planned opening timeframe but not daily hours, late openings, holiday hours, or seasonal exceptions. Any specific schedule circulating before an official store-hours notice should be treated as unconfirmed.

Two previous temporary stores had different hours, which is one reason not to use them as a forecast. The Pokémon Europe International Championships pop-up in 2024 was scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Thursday, April 4, through Saturday, April 6, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 7. Nintendo UK’s 2019 announcement for a temporary Westfield London pop-up listed 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Those schedules belong to different temporary events, years, and venues. They show that hours can vary; they do not indicate when the permanent store will open each day. In particular, the 2019 Westfield hours should not be used as the hours for a future London location, whose address has not been announced.

Once permanent-store hours are published, check the date-specific schedule before setting out. A normal weekly timetable may not answer whether a special launch day, public holiday, or event day has different access. At present, there is no official permanent-store schedule against which to check those exceptions.

Will I need a reservation, and how long could the queue be?

No reservation system, walk-in policy, queue arrangement, or waiting-time estimate has been announced for the permanent store. There is also no official figure for future visitor volume or average queue length. It would be misleading to promise either easy walk-in entry or a particular wait.

Past pop-ups illustrate why the rules must be checked for the specific store and date. For the 2024 Pokémon Europe International Championships pop-up, official guidance required a reservation even for badged attendees. At the 2019 Westfield London pop-up, Nintendo UK warned that entry could close earlier than scheduled if demand was high. Neither rule is confirmed for the planned permanent store.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Until the permanent-store policy is announced, do not rely on screenshots, queue anecdotes, or old event instructions to decide whether you can turn up without booking. If a reservation is eventually required, the official instructions should establish which visitors need one, whether it is tied to a time slot, and what happens if demand is high. If walk-ins are allowed, the announcement may still explain entry limits or temporary closures. None of those details is available yet.

Also keep physical and online queues separate. The online Pokémon Center UK website may use a virtual queue during high traffic, but that process is for the website, not a line outside a London shop. An online queue does not establish the physical store’s entry policy or product availability.

Will the store be wheelchair accessible?

No accessibility statement for the permanent London store has been published. Because the address and venue are also unknown, visitors cannot yet verify the route from public transport, step-free entrance, internal circulation, lifts, seating, accessible toilets, queue arrangements, or availability of mobility equipment. Do not assume that a feature at a former pop-up will be present at the permanent location.

There are positive historical examples, but they are venue-specific. The 2024 Championships pop-up at ExCeL London was in a flat, no-barrier hall. ExCeL offered wheelchair and mobile-scooter hire, and official guidance asked visitors needing other accommodations to notify Pokémon Center staff when making their appointment. Nintendo UK’s 2019 announcement for the Westfield London temporary store said it would be fully accessible for guests of all abilities and that an elevator would be available between floors.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Those statements describe the 2024 ExCeL event and the 2019 Westfield pop-up. They are not an accessibility commitment for a future permanent store, which may be in a different building and operate under different arrangements. For planning purposes, wait for an official statement tied to the permanent venue and check the venue’s own current access information too.

If you need a particular accommodation, look for contact details and an access-planning process in the future official guidance. The current announcement does not say whom to contact, what accommodations will be available, or how far in advance to request them. Until those details are published, it is safer not to rely on a particular entrance, lift, seating option, queue adjustment, or equipment-hire service.

Can I shop for Pokémon products in the UK now?

Yes. The official Pokémon Center UK website is the current official shopping route mentioned by Pokémon Support. That is an online option, not a substitute physical location and not evidence that the London shop has opened. If you want to buy something now, use the UK website and its current product and delivery information rather than planning a visit to a non-operating store.

Online availability and future in-store availability are separate questions. The future announcement mentions exclusive merchandise, but it does not identify products, say what will be sold online, or promise that a particular item will be stocked at the London store. Likewise, the existence of a product on the website does not confirm that it will be available in person later.

An online virtual queue is also separate from future physical-store entry. Do not assume that an online queue account, position, or process will reserve a place at the London store. The permanent store has no published queue or reservation policy as of October 30, 2026.

Why do old Pokémon Center London pages show different information?

Because London has hosted temporary Pokémon retail experiences before, old information may look like current store guidance even when it describes a past event. The 2019 Westfield London pop-up and the 2024 Pokémon Europe International Championships pop-up were not the same store, took place in different contexts, and published different hours and entry details. Their announcements are useful historical records, not operating instructions for the future permanent store.

When checking a page or post, look for four identifiers: its publication date, the venue, whether it says “pop-up” or describes an event, and whether it links to a current official permanent-store announcement. A date from 2019 or 2024, a named event venue, or an expired appointment system is a strong sign that it should not be used to plan a future visit. Even accurate historical accessibility information does not establish the facilities of a future venue.

The October 21, 2026 announcement is the controlling source for what is planned now. Pokémon Support’s current statements control the present-day point that there is no physical UK store operating. When later official updates provide a location, date, or visitor rules, those newer details should replace assumptions based on past pop-ups.

What should I verify when the store details are announced?

A future opening announcement may not answer every trip-planning question at once. Before booking or travelling, verify the details that affect your particular visit rather than relying on an opening headline alone.

  • Date and status: Does the notice give a specific public opening date, and does it distinguish the opening from a preview or limited event?
  • Address: Is there a confirmed street address and named venue? Confirm it from an official source before planning transport.
  • Hours: Are the hours daily, weekly, or specific to the launch period? Check for date-specific changes.
  • Entry: Is advance booking required? Are walk-ins accepted, and are there capacity controls or early entry cutoffs?
  • Accessibility: Does the store or venue publish step-free access, lifts, accessible facilities, queue guidance, and a contact route for accommodation requests?
  • Merchandise and experiences: Are any stated products or activities limited to certain dates, subject to availability, or governed by separate entry rules?

These checks are especially important if you are travelling with children, visiting with someone who needs access accommodations, or building a wider London itinerary around the store. The announcement currently confirms a plan and broad intended offer—not the operational information required to make those arrangements.

What is the safest plan right now?

Do not plan a physical visit today: no permanent store is open. For a future trip, wait for official publication of the exact opening date, address, operating hours, entry rules, and access information. Until then, historical pop-up details can help explain what happened at those events but cannot tell you what to expect at the permanent London store.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I visit Pokémon Center London today?

No. The permanent store is not operating as of October 30, 2026. If a map listing or social post suggests otherwise, check its date and whether it refers to a past pop-up or event.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Does joining the Pokémon Center UK online queue save an item for me?

No. Pokémon’s online support guidance says joining the virtual queue does not guarantee that a product will still be available. Keep the queue window open while waiting, and remember that this website queue is unrelated to entry at a future physical store.

Where can I buy Pokémon Center products in the UK while I wait?

Pokémon Support identifies the UK Pokémon Center website as the current regional shopping route. Check the site’s live listing and delivery information for current availability; the future London announcement does not guarantee that any particular online item will be stocked in-store.

Is the future London store guaranteed to open on a particular day in 2029?

No exact day has been announced. The current official schedule says the store is planned to open by 2029, so travellers should wait for a dated public-opening notice before making a trip specifically to visit it.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
