The Oppo Find X10 combines fast wired and wireless charging, an IP-rated enclosure, eSIM capability and ColorOS 17.0. The important qualifications are regional: battery size and box contents differ between OPPO India and OPPO Luxembourg, while OPPO’s published specifications do not state how many Android-version or security updates the phone will receive. Water resistance is based on controlled tests rather than unlimited waterproofing, and eSIM activation still depends on your carrier and the exact regional model.
What are the Oppo Find X10’s key specifications?
The Find X10 is not one completely identical product worldwide. OPPO’s regional specification pages show different battery capacities and potentially different retail-box contents, so the page for the country where you will buy the phone should take precedence over a global listing or an imported handset’s advertisement.

A larger stated capacity does not automatically mean longer battery life. Runtime also depends on display brightness, mobile-network conditions, processor load, software settings and temperature. Imported phones can further differ in supported cellular bands, warranty coverage and accessories.
How fast does the Oppo Find X10 charge?
OPPO lists up to 80W SUPERVOOC over USB Type-C and up to 50W AIRVOOC wirelessly. Those are maximum modes under compatible conditions, not a promise that every charger, cable, temperature or battery state will deliver the peak continuously.

What you need for the wired maximum
Use a charger and cable that support the required SUPERVOOC charging protocol. The regional listing may include a charger, USB data cable and protective case, but OPPO warns that in-box contents vary by market. A generic USB-C power adapter can still charge the phone, yet it may fall back to a lower negotiated rate if it lacks the appropriate protocol or power profile.
- Check the model’s local OPPO product page and the label on your charger for SUPERVOOC compatibility.
- Use a sound USB-C cable rated for the charger’s output; damaged, very thin or unusually long cables can trigger a lower mode.
- Connect the charger directly to a wall outlet rather than an unpowered hub or worn extension lead.
- Keep the phone and connector dry, remove heavy heat-trapping cases during intensive charging, and leave ventilation around the handset.
- Watch the lock-screen charging indicator for the negotiated mode. If it shows ordinary charging, test with a known-compatible charger and cable before assuming the phone is defective.
How does wireless charging differ?
AIRVOOC wireless charging requires a compatible charging stand or pad. Alignment, case thickness, foreign objects between the pad and phone, and heat can reduce the rate. Wireless charging normally produces more heat than wired charging because energy crosses an air gap; a slower mode is preferable if the phone becomes hot or you are charging overnight.
Can I use a third-party charger?
Yes, but verify the protocol and the regional Find X10 model before buying. Third-party USB-C chargers that do not advertise the required OPPO charging standard should be treated as fallback chargers, not as a way to obtain the maximum listed speed. Never use a frayed cable, a charger with a loose socket or an adapter whose voltage and current markings are unclear.
Is the Oppo Find X10 waterproof?
No phone is permanently or unconditionally waterproof. OPPO Luxembourg displays an IP68 ingress-protection rating and says the product was also tested to IP69; IP68 is the rating shown for European regulatory compliance.

What IP68 and IP69 actually indicate
IP ratings describe specific laboratory exposure conditions. The first digit concerns protection from solid particles, while the second concerns water exposure under the test defined for that rating. Passing a test does not guarantee survival after every pool, shower, spill, pressure jet or submersion scenario, and it does not make the phone suitable for deliberate underwater photography.
IP69 testing is associated with more severe high-temperature, high-pressure water-jet conditions than ordinary splash testing. It still does not mean that every real-world jet, depth, water temperature or chemical environment is safe. Salt water, chlorinated pool water, soap, alcohol and other liquids can attack seals or leave conductive residue even when a device has an ingress rating.
When can resistance decline?
- A drop or bend can create a microscopic gap that a visual inspection will miss.
- Opening the handset for a repair, battery service or screen replacement can disturb factory seals.
- Normal aging, heat cycles and abrasion around ports and buttons can reduce sealing performance.
- Liquid under pressure can reach openings that would survive a brief accidental splash.
What should I do after liquid contact?
- Disconnect the charger and any cable immediately; do not connect power while the USB-C port is wet.
- Remove the case and wipe the exterior with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Hold the phone with the port facing down and let it air-dry in a ventilated place.
- Do not use a hair dryer, compressed air, rice or a heated surface, all of which can push moisture deeper or damage components.
- If the phone shows a moisture warning, behaves erratically or was submerged, contact an authorized service center before charging again.
Warranty treatment for liquid damage is not established by the IP label alone. Read the warranty terms for your sales region, because accidental-liquid exclusions and inspection procedures differ.
How many Android updates will the Find X10 receive?
OPPO’s published pages identify ColorOS 17.0, but the specifications checked do not state a model-specific number of Android-version upgrades or a fixed security-patch period. It would therefore be inaccurate to promise a particular update count without consulting the applicable regional OPPO update policy.

What that means for a buyer
ColorOS version and Android version are related but not identical labels. A phone can receive a ColorOS feature release, an Android platform upgrade, security patches or bug-fix firmware on different schedules. Availability can also vary by country, carrier firmware and certification status.
How to check for an update
- Open Settings on the Find X10.
- Choose About device or the similarly named software-information entry.
- Tap the ColorOS or Software update panel.
- Select Check for updates, then read the release notes before installing.
- Back up important data, connect to reliable Wi-Fi and keep the battery sufficiently charged before a major update.
If no update appears, that does not prove support has ended. Rollouts can be staged, and a carrier or regional build may receive the package later. Conversely, a long-term promise should be treated as unconfirmed until OPPO publishes it for your exact model and market.
Does the Oppo Find X10 have eSIM?
Yes. Both the global and Luxembourg specifications label eSIM as “Supported.” Whether you can activate it depends on your carrier’s eSIM service, the country in which the line is issued and the exact regional SKU.
What to verify before relying on eSIM
- Ask the carrier whether it supports eSIM for this specific handset model, not merely for the network in general.
- Confirm that the carrier can issue a QR code, app-based profile or other activation method accepted in your country.
- Check whether the phone is carrier-unlocked and whether imported firmware is eligible for local network registration.
- Ask how many profiles may be stored and whether two lines can be active simultaneously.
- Keep the physical SIM available until the eSIM has completed activation and made a test call.
What about dual-SIM behavior?
The specification label confirms eSIM support but does not, by itself, define every dual-SIM combination. The number of active lines, whether eSIM can operate alongside two physical SIMs, and which line handles 5G or calls may vary by regional hardware and software. Obtain the model number and carrier’s compatibility statement before porting your primary number.

How should I choose chargers and protection accessories?
Buy accessories for the exact regional model rather than relying on the Find X10 name alone. For a wired setup, match the charger’s protocol, output rating and plug standard; for wireless charging, confirm AIRVOOC compatibility and that the stand leaves the coil aligned with the phone.
A case should leave the USB-C opening unobstructed and avoid pressing continuously on buttons. Thick or metal-backed cases can interfere with wireless charging and increase heat. A screen protector must match the display’s curved edges, camera cutout and any fingerprint-sensor area; an incorrectly sized protector can lift at the corners or reduce touch sensitivity.

The phone charges slowly
Check the cable, charger protocol, wall outlet and port for lint or moisture. Remove demanding apps, let the handset cool and test again without a thick case. If the phone still never enters its advertised fast mode with verified compatible accessories, document the charger and cable models before contacting support.

A moisture warning remains
Disconnect everything, allow longer air-drying and inspect the port under good light without inserting metal objects. Persistent warnings after the port is visibly dry can indicate contamination or damage and warrant service rather than repeated charging attempts.
The eSIM will not activate
Confirm that the QR code has not already been used, that the phone is unlocked and that the carrier has provisioned the line for this device. A regional SKU mismatch or unsupported dual-SIM arrangement can block activation even when the specification says eSIM is supported.

Can I charge the Find X10 overnight?
Overnight charging is generally a low-attention use case, but place the phone on a hard, ventilated surface and avoid covering it with bedding. Stop using the setup if the handset, pad or adapter becomes unusually hot, smells of burning or repeatedly disconnects.
Will an IP68 phone survive a beach visit?
The rating does not protect against sand abrasion, salt residue or drops onto hard surfaces. Keep the phone in a sealed pouch near the water, rinse salt or chlorine off the exterior with clean fresh water only when the manufacturer permits it, and dry the device before opening any port.
Can I move my eSIM to another phone later?
Usually the carrier must issue a new activation or transfer the existing profile; deleting an eSIM does not guarantee that it can be restored from the old QR code. Ask the carrier about transfer rules before erasing the profile or resetting the Find X10.
