To find limited-time rewards in OOC: The Playable Anime, sign in to the app or ooc.ai and check the in-app event notice and Claim Free Credits tab. Redeem coupon codes inside OOC, not on coupon-aggregator sites. As of November 5, 2026, the Halloween campaign is live: it offers double daily check-in Credits through October 31 PT (that check-in window has ended), while eligible users can still claim seven free Story messages per qualifying OOC Original through November 8 at 00:00 PT. The paid Halloween Candy Pack is also scheduled to run through November 8, subject to regional availability and daily stock.
Where should I look for OOC rewards?
Start with OOC’s own surfaces: the event notice, the Claim Free Credits tab, and any reward prompt shown in the signed-in app. OOC is short for Out Of Character and is an interactive anime and web-novel app where players type actions and stories branch. It is available on the web at ooc.ai, as well as through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Rewards discussed here are digital Credits or free chat grants, not physical anime merchandise.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Read the in-app event notice. It is the best place to confirm dates, eligible stories, and whether a paid pack is available in your region. CBR’s October 26, 2026, OOC partnership coverage says eligibility and event schedules are given in the notice.
- Open Claim Free Credits. This is the daily check-in surface. A regular check-in grants 300 Credits; an active double-reward event grants 600.
- Look for seasonal rows on the home screen. For Halloween 2026, OOC added a Trick or Chat row between OOC Originals and Trending Now. GameFragger reported that the Halloween theme, icon, and launch screen were scheduled to remain through November 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
- Check official announcements for coupons. OOC’s announcement channels include its in-app notice board, r/OOC_official, and official social accounts. Its named channels include Instagram
ooc.official.insta, TikTok@ooc_official_tiktok, Discord inviteP5XHpEfcKK, and YouTube@OOC_Youtube. - Open Profile → Benefits → Referral Code if you are looking for a referral reward rather than an event coupon.
OOC does not maintain an evergreen public coupon-code list. A coupon box exists, but codes are occasional, time-limited, and generally limited to one use per account. A code posted elsewhere may already have expired; a claim that a code is live should be checked against an official OOC channel.
Avoid coupon aggregators, “unlimited Credits” lists, and code generators. Credits are held on OOC’s servers, so a third-party page cannot generate a valid balance. An August 2026 tracker from ISEKAI ZERO reported no public code live on August 28; that is not proof about the code status on November 5. Halloween contest winner codes are sent by direct message and are not public codes. No independently confirmed public code is established here for November 5, 2026.

What rewards are available, and who can claim them?
OOC has several distinct reward routes. Check-in and eligible free Story messages are the broadest no-purchase options; referral rewards are for qualifying new accounts; coupon rewards depend on a current official drop; and the Candy Pack costs money and is limited by region and stock.
| Reward | Cost | Who qualifies | Where to claim | Expiry or limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Daily check-in | Free | Signed-in users, once per day | Claim Free Credits tab | Resets at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time; event rates apply only during the stated window |
| Halloween free Story messages | Free | Signed-in users; eligible OOC Originals with no prior conversation | Open an eligible Original and chat in Story mode | Seven messages per eligible Original; offer ends November 8, 2026, at 00:00 PT |
| Coupon code | Free | Account and code must meet the specific drop’s terms | Credits screen or OOC → Coupon Redeem | Drop-specific; codes expire and are typically one per account |
| Referral reward | Free | New account applies a code within 24 hours of signup; referrer reward depends on referred purchases | Profile → Benefits → Referral Code | New-user referral Credits expire after three days; referrer Credits after 30 days |
| Halloween Candy Pack | Paid | Buyers in select regions, while daily stock remains | Live offer tile in app or web checkout at ooc.ai | Scheduled through November 8, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PT; daily and per-user limits apply |
How do I claim daily check-in Credits?
Sign in, open Claim Free Credits, and claim once during the day. The usual award is 300 Credits; during a double check-in event it is 600. Team OOC said the daily reset is 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, so a claim made shortly before an event begins may still receive the prior amount.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minute- Update OOC before an advertised event. Team OOC asked players to use app version 0.1.15 before its August 2026 double-reward event.
- Sign in to the account on which you want the reward.
- Open Claim Free Credits and check the amount shown for that day.
- Claim after the event has begun in Pacific Time. If the expected doubled amount is not shown, verify the event’s start time and the app’s event notice before assuming the reward failed.
For Halloween 2026, Apple App Store listing copy and OOC’s October 26 promotional coverage give the double check-in window as October 25–31 PT. GameFragger’s account of OOC’s notice instead says the offer ended October 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT, a one-day discrepancy. The first-party App Store and OOC promotional dates support October 31 as the end date; either way, the check-in promotion has ended by November 5. GameFragger calculated 1,800 more Credits than a normal week for its six-day interpretation, so that figure should not be treated as a confirmed seven-day total.
Are there working OOC coupon codes right now?
No public code can be confirmed from the information available for November 5, 2026. OOC has no published evergreen code, and the last dated public-code tracker check in this information was August 28, 2026, when it listed none live. Check official channels for a fresh drop rather than relying on an old code list.

Where do I enter the code?
- Open the Credits screen.
- Tap “Redeem a coupon code for free Credits”.
- Paste the code into the top field. Treat it as case-sensitive.
- Tap “Redeem Coupon”.
For contest-winner codes, OOC moderator instructions also give the path as OOC → Coupon Redeem. One moderator notice said those winner codes were valid for two weeks from the day of the direct message. The same notice said awarded Credits expire 30 days after they arrive in the account; check the message for the specific deadline attached to a reward.
Codes may be restricted to a single redemption per account and can expire. Players have speculated that some codes may have a first-user cap, such as 100 redemptions, but OOC has not published that as a general rule. If an official code appears, redeem it promptly and keep the source post’s terms.
How do I get the seven free Halloween Story messages?
From October 29 through November 8, 2026, at 00:00 PT, signed-in users can receive seven free messages in Story chat for each OOC Original with no prior conversation. Open an eligible Original and send messages in Story mode; the first seven qualifying messages should not debit Credits.
- Sign in before opening the story.
- Choose an OOC Original you have not chatted with before the campaign eligibility cutoff. GameFragger described the cutoff as no interaction before October 25; the App Store wording says no prior conversation. Use the in-app event notice if it specifies eligibility for your account.
- Start the conversation in Story mode. The offer concerns Story messages, not the free Basic Model in Character Mode.
- Watch the Credit balance as you chat. If a message appears to consume Credits, stop and check whether the story is an eligible Original and whether the campaign is still active.
IGN’s October 26 promotional feature says there is no cap on the number of eligible stories, so the seven-message allowance applies per qualifying Original rather than once across the whole catalog. OOC promotional materials cited 409 Originals, 52,630 stories, and 58,848 characters in 2026; those catalog counts can change and are not guarantees that every story is an eligible Original. The campaign envelope in OOC’s Anime News Network advertorial was October 25–November 8, while the specific message offer begins October 29.

How does the referral reward work?
A referral is separate from a coupon. A new account must apply a referral code within 24 hours of signup, and once applied the code cannot be changed. Referral codes are found through Profile → Benefits → Referral Code; sharing through links is off by default.
For a new user
Use the referral link to auto-fill the code, then tap Apply Code, or enter it manually through Benefits → Referral Code → Enter Code → Apply Code. Team OOC says the new user receives 500 referral Credits on top of 500 welcome Credits. The 500 referral Credits expire three days after the code is applied, so do not assume they remain in the account indefinitely.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
For the person who shared the code
The referrer earns 5% of the Credits the referred user buys during their first 30 days. For example, Team OOC’s stated calculation is that 20,000 purchased Credits yield 1,000 Credits for the referrer. Only purchased Credits count: bonus Credits bundled with a purchase, event Credits, and coupon Credits do not.
Each qualifying purchase is held for at least seven days. Referral rewards then post once a day with a notification, and expire 30 days after receipt. The monthly cap is 100,000 referral Credits; amounts above the cap are not paid or carried over, and the count resets on the first of each month.

What is the Halloween Candy Pack, and is it worth paying for?
The Halloween Candy Pack is a paid, regional, limited-stock Credit bundle, not a free reward. The official moderator account described it as 70,000 Credits plus a mystery bonus of up to 1,000,000 Credits. Its stated offer window runs October 29, 2026, at 00:00 PT through November 8 at 23:59 PT, subject to the live offer in your region.
| Listing | Price shown | Availability note |
|---|---|---|
| Web checkout at ooc.ai | US$89.99 | Price stated by u/OOC_Mod; confirm the live tile and region availability |
| App offer stated by u/OOC_Mod | US$111.90 | Up to three packs per user per day; global daily cap of 1,500 packs |
| Apple App Store Halloween Candy Pack listing | US$111.99 | App Store listing also showed a “5% Off” option at US$105.99 |
Prices checked Nov 2026. The app price in the moderator post and the App Store listing differ slightly, so use the price shown at checkout rather than assuming the listings are identical. The named mystery-bonus odds from u/OOC_Mod were Hyper: +50,000 Credits at 4%; Legend: +100,000 at 0.93%; and Jackpot: +1,000,000 at 0.07%. Those odds describe the bonus outcome, not a guaranteed payout; the guaranteed bundle stated by the moderator account is 70,000 Credits. Since availability is limited to select regions and stock, check the in-app offer notice before buying.
Why did I redeem daily Credits but only get 300?
The normal daily check-in award is 300 Credits. A 600-Credit payout applies only during a double-reward event and only after its start time; the daily reward resets at midnight Pacific Time. A claim at 12:20 a.m. local time may still be before midnight PT, depending on your time zone, and a claim shortly before an event begins may be counted under the previous rate.
- Confirm the event date and time in PT, not just your local calendar date.
- Check whether the event has started and whether its end date has passed.
- Update the app if the announcement requires a minimum version.
- Confirm that you are signed into the intended account and that the event notice applies to it.
For a Halloween check-in, note that the listed double period ended October 31 PT at the latest; a normal 300-Credit check-in on November 5 is not evidence that the Halloween reward failed.

How should I spend free rewards without wasting them?
OOC’s free and paid paths serve different modes. Character Mode using the Basic Model is always free; Story Mode spends Credits. The seven-message Halloween grant is useful for sampling eligible Original stories in Story mode without spending the daily check-in balance.
Do not assume all Credit grants share the same expiry. Regular daily check-in Credits have no specific expiry stated here, while referral and event/contest rewards have explicit expiration windows. Review the grant notice and your balance details when a reward arrives. Community and competitor estimates put high-tier Story generations at roughly 195 Credits and mid-tier at roughly 90, but OOC has not published those as official prices; actual costs may vary by model or story action.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Creators may also earn bonus Credits when other users play their content, according to IGN’s promotional feature. That is a creator reward for sharing content, not a coupon or a limited-time event code.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is OOC the same as an “out of camp” event in Merge Dragons?
No. OOC in this guide means Out Of Character, the interactive anime and web-novel app. Merge Dragons uses “OOC” in a separate out-of-camp context, and its event rewards do not apply to this app.
Can I use the Halloween free messages in Character Mode?
The seven-message offer is for Story chat in eligible OOC Originals. Character Mode using the Basic Model is a separate always-free mode and does not need the Halloween grant.
Do OOC rewards include physical merchandise or a printed guide?
The rewards covered here are digital Credits and chat grants inside OOC. No official physical edition, guidebook, merchandise SKU, model kit, or accessory was identified.
