Nintendo does not put every event, broadcast and competition into one guaranteed worldwide calendar. Use Nintendo Today! to see scheduled items, the regional News & Events feed for dates and rules, the Nintendo Direct archive for Direct presentations, and separate pages for Indie World and Treehouse: Live videos. This route tells you whether an item is an upcoming appointment, a replay, a gameplay segment or an event that requires participation rather than viewing.
The instructions and examples below reflect Nintendo’s US pages checked October 30, 2026. Event availability, times, eligibility and video links can differ by country, so use the equivalent Nintendo site for your region when one exists.

Which official Nintendo page should you use?
Choose the page by the question you are trying to answer. The routes complement one another rather than serving as interchangeable versions of one calendar.

Where is Nintendo’s official event calendar?
The closest official calendar is the Event Schedule inside Nintendo Today!, Nintendo’s free mobile app for people with a Nintendo Account and a compatible smart device. Nintendo says you can link its in-app calendar with Google Calendar on Android or Calendar on iOS so scheduled Nintendo items, such as game release dates, appear alongside personal appointments.

How to open the Event Schedule
- Install Nintendo Today! on a compatible iOS or Android device and sign in with a Nintendo Account.
- Open the app’s Event Schedule. Review the dated entries instead of relying on a general social-media feed.
- If you want the dates in your normal planner, use the app’s calendar-linking option. Nintendo identifies Google Calendar for Android and Calendar for iOS as the supported device-calendar destinations.
- Open an individual entry or announcement when you need the event’s format, region or instructions; the calendar entry itself is not a substitute for the full notice.
Nintendo lists persistent internet access, iOS 16.0 or later, or Android 10.0 or later as requirements. The app is described as free, but the Event Schedule is a calendar feature, not proof that every Direct, tournament, in-person activation or regional announcement will appear there. No official source establishes a percentage of events covered or a fixed frequency for future Directs.
How do I find the date, time and rules for a Nintendo event?
Use the US News & Events listing, then open the post for the event itself. That post is where Nintendo can specify a start time, location, eligibility, registration process, rules and any viewing instructions.
Why the individual announcement matters
A listing headline may identify an event without telling you whether it is a broadcast. Nintendo’s October 26, 2026 announcement for the November 7 Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast tournament carries participation details. A separate October 29 post describes an in-person Pikmin activation in Nashville. The latter should not be treated as a livestream merely because it appears in the same news feed.
Readers outside the United States should switch to their regional Nintendo site before treating a time, location or eligibility rule as applicable. The US feed is useful for navigation, but it cannot establish that an event is available in every country.
Where can I watch a Nintendo Direct live?
Start with the Direct’s dated announcement or presentation page, then follow the video link Nintendo provides for that specific event. The Nintendo Direct archive is the official index for Direct titles and dates; each presentation page can contain an embedded video player and links to associated coverage.

The archive is most dependable as a replay route. A page may be published before or after a broadcast, so do not infer a universal live schedule from the archive alone. Nintendo’s inspected September 9, 2026 Direct page embeds a YouTube player, links to related Treehouse: Live coverage and identifies Nintendo Today! as another way to watch that presentation, subject to account, device and country qualifications. That page does not establish that every Nintendo event is carried live on YouTube or on any one third-party service.
How to use the archive for a scheduled presentation
- Open the US Direct archive and scan the presentation titles and dates.
- Select the event’s title to reach its presentation page.
- Read the page’s date, time and format information before setting an appointment. If Nintendo supplies a player or a live viewing instruction, use that event-specific link.
- After the event, return to the same presentation page for the embedded replay and any linked Treehouse coverage.
For context, Nintendo described the September 9, 2026 Direct as roughly 45 minutes at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET. Those figures describe that archived presentation, not a prediction for the next Direct.
Can I rewatch a Nintendo Direct?
Yes. Open the presentation by title and date in Nintendo’s Direct archive and use its presentation page. Nintendo’s European archive also states that earlier broadcasts can be rewatched, while the exact catalogue and regional page can differ.
When a Direct includes a gameplay demonstration, check the related links on the presentation page as well as the main player. Nintendo may place extended demonstrations in Treehouse: Live rather than inside the Direct replay. This is why searching only for the Direct title can miss a longer segment for a particular game.
Where is the Indie World replay?
Use Nintendo’s separate Indie World showcase page. Nintendo’s corresponding news post directs viewers to that page, where the October 28, 2026 showcase video is hosted.

Nintendo described that program as roughly 15 minutes. The figure is an approximate duration for that specific showcase, not a guarantee about future Indie World programs. Because Indie World has its own page and format, an Indie World replay should not be assumed to be indexed in the Direct archive.
Where are Nintendo Treehouse gameplay videos?
Open the dedicated Nintendo Treehouse: Live page. The September 2026 page contains the program video and separately labeled gameplay segments, which makes it the better route when you want a particular game demonstration instead of the shorter Direct presentation.
Use the segment labels to jump to the game or demonstration you need. A Treehouse page can be connected to a Direct, but it is a separate video format and should be searched separately when the Direct archive does not show the footage you remember.
What does “latest Nintendo event” actually mean?
Specify the format and date before calling something latest. The US Direct archive inspected for this guide places a September 9, 2026 Direct at the top, while Nintendo also published an Indie World Showcase on October 28, 2026. The latest Direct and the latest Nintendo showcase are therefore different answers.

Is a Nintendo tournament notice also a livestream notice?
No. A participation notice tells you how to enter; it does not, by itself, promise that Nintendo will broadcast the event. Read the event’s own post and rules before describing it as watchable online.
Example: Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast
Nintendo’s November 7, 2026 Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast tournament requires registration through Tournament Manager within SplatNet 3 in the Nintendo Switch App. Its official rules specify a window of 10 a.m. to approximately noon PT. Those requirements concern eligible participants, not viewers trying to watch a Direct, Indie World or Treehouse replay.
Do not tell readers they need Splatoon 3, a console, Nintendo Switch Online or the app merely to view Nintendo’s presentation videos. Those products may matter for entering a particular competition, while Nintendo Today! is described as free and the official news and archive pages are web pages.

What should I do if an event or video is missing?
Work through the format and region checks before assuming the announcement was removed.
- Check the format: Search the Direct archive for Directs, the Indie World showcase page for Indie World, and Treehouse: Live for gameplay segments.
- Check the dated notice: News & Events may contain rules or a location even when no stream is announced.
- Check the region: A US page may not list an event, time or eligibility rule for your country. Open the Nintendo site serving your region.
- Check the date: An archive’s newest Direct entry is not necessarily Nintendo’s newest event of any kind.
- Check access requirements: Nintendo Today! needs a Nintendo Account, supported operating system and persistent internet; a web replay may instead be available directly from its presentation page.
If the event is an in-person activation or a competition, use its own notice rather than searching for a video that Nintendo has not promised. The absence of a player is meaningful: it prevents you from presenting attendance or entry instructions as a viewing option.

Which route should you bookmark?
Bookmark the Nintendo Today! page if you want the app and its calendar requirements, News & Events for dated particulars, the Direct archive for Direct replays, and the dedicated Indie World and Treehouse: Live pages for their formats. For any individual event, open its own announcement before repeating a time, eligibility rule, location or livestream claim.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Nintendo Today! from a desktop browser?
Nintendo describes Today! as a smart-device app and lists iOS and Android requirements. Its official description explains links to Google Calendar on Android and Calendar on iOS, but it does not describe a desktop web calendar feed.

No single calendar is established as complete for every country and event type. Regional Nintendo sites can carry different dates, eligibility details or announcements, so verify the page serving your location.
Why might a game demo be absent from a Direct replay?
Nintendo can place longer gameplay demonstrations in a Treehouse: Live program with separately labeled segments. Search that dedicated page when the Direct presentation contains only a short overview.
Can I watch an in-person Nintendo activation online?
Not unless the event’s own announcement supplies viewing instructions. A News & Events post can describe an in-person activity or a competition without promising a broadcast.
