Start at the DMZ Orders station in the Forward Operating Base (FOB). Orders are arranged in pages of three, and a page pays only after all three Orders are complete. Community launch-week checklists consistently report a 20,000 DMZ Cash page bundle, plus gear, a survival kit or recipes; an individual Order does not pay that bundle. Finish Page 1, exfil, accept the incoming transmission and choose a chapter. Read the whole active page before deploying, print any required recipes first, and use the FOB panel—not a community list—as the authority for your current objectives.
This checklist covers the launch build (23 October 2026; DMZ Early Access began 20 October for digital pre-orders) and evidence available on 29 October 2026. Later-page names and rewards are still being reconciled by community trackers, so uncertain entries are marked accordingly.

What are MW4 DMZ Orders and why do they matter?
Activision describes Orders as the mission directives that onboard you, tell DMZ’s story, teach the Hajin exclusion zone and upgrade your Operator and FOB. They are available from the start and combine movement, looting, crafting, combat and story objectives. Completing them supplies the cash, equipment and recipes needed for later deployments.
“Visit the DMZ Orders station to view your current objectives—organized in Pages—and the rewards available for completing them.”

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The station is on the FOB. The active page is also shown in the FOB HUD, and the current Order appears in the upper-right of the screen while deployed. Each page contains three Orders, with one to three tasks and counters such as “Loot 30 Chemicals 0/30.” Progress updates as you perform the action.
- The page bundle is paid once, after all three Orders are complete.
- Completing a page normally requires a successful exfil before the next page or Caller briefing appears.
- Story Missions, Dynamic Operations and Free Roam are separate Deploy choices, but a Story Mission can advance a matching active Order.
- Orders teach the systems that later pages assume: the 3D Printer, Gunsmith, Vendor, Boss Board, Survival Kits and infiltration unlocks.
Activision’s 9 October 2026 FOB guide does not publish a complete Orders table or a page-cash figure. The 20,000 DMZ Cash page amount below is a community-reported figure repeated by COD Central, Game8, DMZMap, DMZ Guides and VGKami in 2026.

Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Where do I open MW4 DMZ order tracking?
- Walk to the DMZ Orders station in the FOB. The station is available immediately.
- Read the page title in the upper-left, shown as
DMZ ORDERS PG nfor fixed pages. Chapter pages may be named by chapter rather than by a stable number. - Expand the page and note all three Order names, every counter and the reward panel. Use the COLLAPSE and VIEW ORDERS prompts under the FOB list as needed.
- Before deploying, open Stash/Loadout and print or equip anything an Order requests. A recipe must be printed; merely carrying a looted item does not satisfy a print objective.
- During the match, watch the upper-right HUD panel for the active Order. A physical Dynamic Op Phone, for example, must be collected in the world; selecting Dynamic Operations on the Deploy screen does not count.
- After all three Orders show complete, exfil successfully. Check the extraction summary and then Stash for the page bundle. If a summary shows an earlier chapter after Pages 10 or 11, verify the actual items and cash in Stash.
Community trackers from DMZMap, DMZ Guides and MW4 Map can be useful overlays. They save locally in the browser or device where you use them and do not replace account progress, which is recorded at the in-game FOB.
Where should a new DMZ player start?
- Own the game. DMZ is included with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4; it is not a free standalone download. The Standard Digital and Vault Editions support Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, Battle.net, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. The Vault Edition adds a third Active Duty slot and a Deployment Kit, but it is not required for Orders.
- Gear Up (Page 1). At Stash/Loadout, equip a weapon, backpack, armor vest and Medkit.
- Crackshot. In the FOB grove firing range, knock down three targets.
- First Op. At Deploy, choose Hajin, Dynamic Operations and Infil: Ground (or the equivalent labels). Deploying is enough; extraction is not required for this tutorial Order.
- Choose a chapter. Return to the FOB, accept the incoming transmission and select Human Intel, Underground or Counterfeit. The screen states that you will complete all chapters over time.
- Plan the first page. Combine a fixed location, a print job and an extraction requirement in one route when possible. Print before leaving if the page asks for equipment.
- Exfil and accept the Caller. The new page is delivered after the completed page is locked by a successful exfil.
Story Missions become available separately after the tutorial. You can launch one even when another chapter is displayed on your Orders page; if its matching Order is active, the completion can count in the same run.
Which DMZ Orders chapter to pick first?
Your first choice changes the sequence, not the final content: every chapter is intended to be completed. Pick by the equipment and movement style you want immediately.

| Chapter | Part 1 task pattern | Ending Story Mission | Unique mission payout or unlock | Why choose it first |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Human Intel | Hunt Lieutenant Tower terminal; clinic bandage and 30 Chemicals; clear a compound and recover Medical Extraction Intel | Operation Critical Extraction — Mirae General Hospital (Medium) | Mirae Electrical Room Key; community tables also list 25,000 DMZ Cash and a Defibrillator | Basic Triage Kit, Flash recipe and three UAVs are listed by community guides; routes are comparatively gentle for a first tour |
| Underground | SAM site and cargo-chopper crate; steal, refuel, repair and drive over seven enemies; transmitters on two radio towers, La Grande Vie and Songdo Wharf | Operation Shopping Hacks — NuriGO Mall (Medium) | Coin Mining Den Key; community tables also list 25,000 DMZ Cash and Night Vision Goggles | DDOS, Decoy Grenade and Night Vision Goggles recipes; the NVG is useful for the dark mall mission |
| Counterfeit | Enter and search a police station; open a safe and extract value; Deadtown UAV Tower, five pinged NK soldiers and Counterfeit Cash | Operation Silent Ledger — Heavenly Luck Casino, Cheongun Village (Medium) | Gold Bar; community tables also list a Counting Room Vault key and Polaris DAGOR A1 infiltration | Recon Drone recipe and Explosives Equipment Kit; the later Polaris DAGOR is needed for a Hornet’s Nest task |
Each of these chapters has two pages (six Orders) and ends with its Story Mission. Community guides report two 20,000 DMZ Cash page bundles per chapter and an Operator Rescue Beacon on the second page.
How many DMZ Orders are there in MW4?
There is no official complete count. Launch-week community trackers listed about 66 discovered Orders on 27–28 October 2026. COD Central documented Pages 1–21, which would be 63 named Orders if every page has three. DMZ Guides listed 16 pages and 44 tasks in a partial checklist, while DMZMap listed 138 objective entries because one Order can contain several objectives.
Use “dozens of Orders in pages of three” as the reliable answer. The page number can change when you select a different chapter: match lists by the exact Order names, not by a number copied from someone else’s route. Fixed pages remain numbered; chapter pages slide into the sequence.
What is the all MW4 DMZ Orders list?
The following launch-week list combines the named Orders and reward observations from COD Central, Game8, DMZMap, DMZ Guides, DMZ Codex and VGKami. C means multiple guides reported the entry consistently; R means community-reported or still moving. Read the in-game reward panel when a source conflict is noted.

What are the exact early Order objectives?
- Gear Up: equip a weapon, backpack, armor vest and Medkit from Stash.
- Crackshot: knock down three firing-range targets.
- First Op: deploy to DMZ in Dynamic Ops.
- Hunter: climb a Hunt Lieutenant Tower and use its terminal to locate the nearest Lieutenant; a kill is not required.
- Triage Protocol: visit a clinic, loot a Bandage and loot 30 Chemicals.
- No One Left: clear a compound and loot dropped Medical Extraction Intel.
- Blindness: print four Flash Grenades and kill eight Flashed enemies.
- Payment Due: collect a physical Dynamic Op Phone and earn 11,500 cash from completed Dynamic Ops.
- Operation Critical Extraction: complete the Story Mission.
- Operation Rewards: in Cheongun Village, collect a Dynamic Op Phone, complete a Dynamic Op and loot its crate; one phone run can satisfy all three.
- Preparation: print a Medium Backpack and a 2-Plate Armor Vest.
- Work Quietly: Gunsmith a suppressor onto a weapon, print a Throwing Knife and kill eight enemies in a row without taking damage.
- Hostile Force: enter a shield-marked police station, search three containers and eliminate five soldiers inside.
- Robbery: open a safe and extract 5,000 total backpack-and-loadout value.
- Execute Intel: hack a Deadtown UAV Tower, kill five NK soldiers it pings and loot their Counterfeit Cash.
COD Central catalogued 21 Hajin safe locations for Robbery, including compounds Alpha through Foxtrot, towns, Cheonwang Peak Array and key rooms. Treat that as a player location dump rather than an official map layer.

How do you complete the Hunter Order?
Hunter is a location-and-terminal task, not a Lieutenant assassination. Use this route:
- Deploy to Hajin with enough armor and a way to reach a tower safely.
- Find a Hunt Lieutenant Tower and climb to the top.
- Interact with the terminal. The terminal marks the nearest Lieutenant.
- Leave the tower and continue the page’s other Orders. Do not waste a run trying to kill the marked Lieutenant unless another active Order asks for it.
- Exfil to record the completed counter and secure the page reward.
How do recipe rewards chain into later Orders?
Printing is an action, and several pages deliberately give you the recipe needed by a later task. Keep these rewards instead of selling the ingredients or assuming a looted equivalent will count.
- Human Intel’s Flash recipe feeds Blindness, which requires four printed Flash Grenades and eight Flashed-enemy kills.
- Counterfeit’s Recon Drone recipe feeds Eyes Everywhere. COD Central lists a print cost of 30 Metals and three Electronic Sensors.
- Underground’s DDOS and Decoy recipes feed Dead Battery and Death From Above.
- Page 11’s Inflatable Decoy feeds The Grid’s I’m Over Here; its C4 recipe feeds Hornet’s Nest’s Click, Boom.
- Operation Silent Ledger unlocks the Polaris DAGOR A1 infiltration used by Navigate With Care.
The 3D Printer unlocks at DMZ Player Level 2. A recipe extracted from a deployment is consumed at exfil and pays 5,000 DMZ Cash, according to Activision’s FOB information.
What do you get for finishing a page of DMZ Orders?
The shared page bundle is the important distinction: three completed Orders trigger one reward package. Community lists put the standard cash component at 20,000 DMZ Cash, with the gear, kit or recipe shown on the page’s reward panel. Do not expect 20,000 for each individual Order.
Story Missions can add a separate payout. MW4 Map lists 25,000 DMZ Cash for each of the six known Story Missions, with some also awarding a key, item or infiltration unlock. The extraction summary usually displays the page payout before the items appear in Stash.

After Page 1, complete the page and exfil to receive the Caller’s next briefing. The Boss Board timing is the one notable wording conflict: Activision says it unlocks after your second DMZ Order, while some player guides say the station lights up after the second page. Use the official “second DMZ Order” rule, then check your own FOB if the board remains locked.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What FOB systems unlock alongside Orders?
| System | Unlock condition | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| DMZ Orders, Stash/Loadout, Firing Range, Survival Kits, Bounty Leaderboard, Progression and Deploy | Immediately | Core onboarding and tracking tools |
| 3D Printer | DMZ Player Level 2 | Print recipes required by Blindness, Preparation and later Orders |

| Gunsmith | Level 10 | Needed for Work Quietly and Arms Deal |
| Dog Tag Case | Level 20 | Additional storage and progression utility |

Survival Kits—including Triage, Restock, Explosives, SERE, Armor and Helmeted Armor variants—stack unopened at the Survival Kits station. Activision says kits can come from leveling, Orders, Missions and events. Completing Human Intel, Underground and Counterfeit also provides intel on Lieutenant Bale in community progression guides; Gorani and Bale appear after those chapters, while Roze is tied to Underground.
What happens when an exfil fails?
- MW4 Map reports that failed exfils retain earned XP, but carried items are lost unless they are in a Secure Slot.
- A dead Operator goes MIA until rescued with DMZ Cash; the cost scales with Trait Points. You can also dismiss the Operator.
- Operator Rescue Beacons, which recur as page rewards, make a rescue free.
- A page is not safely banked until the successful exfil that follows its completion. Recheck the FOB page after a failed run.
Which Story Missions also complete Orders?
There are six known Story Missions. They are separate from the chapter page selection, but each appears as an Order in the relevant sequence.
| Story Mission | Location | Community-listed extra reward | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operation Critical Extraction | Mirae General Hospital | Defibrillator; Mirae Electrical Room Key | — |
| Operation Silent Ledger | Heavenly Luck Casino, Cheongun Village | Gold Bar; Counting Room Vault key | Polaris DAGOR infiltration |
| Operation Shopping Hacks | NuriGO Mall | Night Vision Goggles; Coin Mining Den key | — |
| Operation Grid Assault | The Grid | Roze’s High-Rise Armory key | Helicopter infiltration |
| Operation Iron Citadel | Chang-san Air Base | Supreme Leader Access Card | LTV infiltration |
| Operation Fallen Ember | Haneul Nuclear Reactor | Reactor DRC Locker key | Cargo Plane infiltration |
The weekly Story Mission card is separate from page progression and displays WEEKLY COMPLETION 0/3 at the start. Philanthropist on Page 19 asks for that weekly challenge, so watch the card rather than assuming any three Orders will satisfy it.
How should I use a reward checklist without losing progress?
- At the FOB, copy the three exact Order names and the reward shown in-game.
- Mark each objective only when its counter completes; do not infer completion from carrying a similar item.
- Record recipe rewards before deploying again so you can plan material gathering.
- After exfil, compare the extraction summary with Stash. This catches the chapter-label display issue reported around Pages 10 and 11.
- Use a browser tracker only as a personal overlay. DMZMap, DMZ Guides and MW4 Map state that their checklists save locally, so changing device or browser may not carry those marks over.
How we built this checklist
The ordering follows the in-game FOB flow. Fixed pages and early tasks are cross-checked across multiple launch-week guides; later rewards are labeled community-reported where lists disagree. Activision’s wording is used for system unlocks, the Boss Board rule and the distinction between Orders, Story Missions and Dynamic Operations. No completion-time, drop-rate or clear-rate claims are included because launch sources do not establish them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is MW4 DMZ free to download?
No. DMZ ships with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 rather than operating as a free standalone download. Standard Digital and Vault Editions both include access; the Vault Edition changes Active Duty slots and starter equipment, not the Order objectives.
Why did a Dynamic Op Phone pickup not advance my Order?
The phone objective checks for a physical phone collected inside Hajin. Choosing Dynamic Operations from the Deploy menu is a different action and does not satisfy the counter, even if the deployment itself is successful.
Can I work on a Story Mission from a different chapter?
Yes. Story Missions have their own Deploy entry, so you can launch one outside the chapter currently displayed at the Orders station. If the corresponding Story Order is active on your page, its completion can register at the same time.
What does the weekly 0/3 Story Mission card track?
It tracks the separate weekly Story Mission challenge, not three ordinary Orders or three objectives on one page. The card resets on its own schedule, and the Philanthropist Order later checks that weekly completion state.
Why does my page number differ from an online checklist?
Chapter pages are inserted according to the chapter you selected, while fixed pages keep their positions. Compare the exact Order names and the FOB reward panel; a page number copied from another player may refer to a different chapter sequence.
