A completed check establishes that Steam found the installed game files it expects, or downloaded replacements for files it considered missing or damaged. It does not certify every part of the computer or every service Moon Sweepers uses.

Verification can reacquire an affected game file, but it does not promise to reset every preference, remove every mod, repair Windows, improve network latency or make unsupported hardware meet the specifications. Treat the result as evidence about the Steam installation only.
