How do you change the camera and navigation controls?
Moon Sweepers received control-related changes almost immediately after release. The most useful camera option is in the game’s settings, while map and equipment actions are tied to progression.
Turn off vehicle camera auto-centering
- Open the pause menu with Escape on keyboard or the controller’s Menu button.
- Choose Settings, then Controls.
- Find Vehicle camera follows behind.
- Turn the option off if you want the camera to remain where you turned it instead of automatically recentering behind the vehicle.
Version 1.0.5, dated October 28, 2026, added this option. The same patch fixed a stuck-forward or unintended-input problem that could occur when a controller, joystick, wheel or pedals were resting off-centre.
Use the lamp and night vision
Version 1.0.4, dated October 25, 2026, documents N as the equipment-cycle key after the goggles upgrade is acquired. Press it to move between the helmet lamp, night-vision goggles and off. The HUD reports the current lamp or goggles state, jetpack boosts and gravity boots.
Set waypoints and teleport
On the Moon map, right-clicking can set a waypoint, focus the camera or teleport, depending on the selected map action. The Teleport Panel lets you travel between discovered stations. These functions are separate from ordinary movement and are easy to miss if you are following an older launch guide.

Does Moon Sweepers have difficulty settings?
