In Starfield, choice is presented more broadly as role-playing freedom. You define a character using backgrounds and traits, choose faction quests, recruit characters and customize a ship. These choices shape what kind of journey you pursue, but the available official descriptions do not establish that they create the same sort of cross-game continuity as Mass Effect.

Free Lanes and Terran Armada
Bethesda describes Free Lanes as an update that expands space travel and New Game+ options. Terran Armada adds a separate story and companion. The update and the DLC are not the same purchase: Free Lanes is free, while Terran Armada is paid content. Shattered Space and the Premium Edition

Is Starfield available on PS5 now?
