Actual results depend on vegetation, line condition, blade selection, operator technique, fuel quality and how quickly the head is moved. - Confirm the model. Check that the shaft, controls and label identify an EM2600U, not the loop-handle EM2600L. Parts and balance can differ.
- Install the U-handle. Position the bike handle and control grip as shown in the manual, then tighten the specified clamps evenly. The handle should not twist when you apply normal two-handed pressure.

What fuel does the EM2600U use?

How to prepare the mixture

How does the nylon cutting head feed line?
The manual describes a dual-line, bump-feed nylon head: with the head rotating, tapping it on the ground releases more line. Before every use
- Inspect the shaft, protector, head or blade, harness attachment and fasteners.
- Check the throttle and stop switch with the engine off, then confirm that controls return normally.
- Look for fuel leaks, damaged fuel lines, loose covers and blocked cooling openings.

A poorly adjusted harness can leave the head too low, force the operator to lift the shaft with the arms or make the quick-release hard to reach. Choose the U model when a harness and broad two-handed sweep suit your work. Choose a loop-handle model only after checking its own manual, attachments, dimensions and weight; do not assume the U model’s published figures transfer to it.

There is grease or noise at the gear case
Stop work and inspect the gear case for damage or a loose attachment. Follow the manual’s grease specification and service interval, reported as every 30 hours in the available manual result, but verify that interval and lubricant against your exact edition before applying anything.
