You cannot preorder Lost and Found Co. on Nintendo Switch today. As of October 30, 2026, Nintendo eShop has no product page, retailers have no Switch SKU, and Bit Egg has not announced a price, exact day, physical edition or preorder bonus. Nintendo and Bit Egg have confirmed the game for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in early 2027.
If you want to play on Nintendo hardware, the practical move is to monitor the eShop and the official announcements, then add the game to your Nintendo Account wish list when its listing appears. If you do not want to wait, the PC and macOS version is already available on Steam, with a free demo and a temporary announcement discount.

Can I preorder Lost and Found Co. on Nintendo Switch now?
No. There is currently no Nintendo eShop listing or retailer product page for the Switch versions, so there is no legitimate checkout or preorder process to complete. Searches for an eShop page, Amazon listing, physical edition and wishlist page found no Nintendo SKU as of October 30, 2026.
The announcement is real, but the commercial details are not live yet. Bit Egg’s October 28 press release says, “Lost and Found Co. launches on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in early 2027.” The official game account posted, “Every lost item has a story. Lost and Found Co. is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch in early 2027!” Nintendo’s Indie World account used the same 2027 window.

When is the Lost and Found Co. Switch release date?
The official release window is early 2027 for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. A day and month have not been published. Gematsu’s game listing also records the worldwide window as early 2027 and currently provides a buy link only for Steam.

Several secondary pages display November 10, 2026, but that date conflicts with Nintendo’s and Bit Egg’s own announcements made on October 28. Treat November 10 as an erroneous listing, not an alternate official launch date. Until Nintendo or Bit Egg supplies a specific day, “early 2027” is the only supported schedule.
How do I preorder Lost and Found Co. when the eShop listing appears?
Once Nintendo publishes a product page, the normal digital-preorder route should be straightforward. The labels below use standard Nintendo eShop terminology; the exact availability and timing can differ by account region.
- Open Nintendo eShop. Use the eShop on your Switch or Switch 2, or the Nintendo website or app while signed in to the Nintendo Account that will own the game.
- Search for the title. Enter Lost and Found Co.; if necessary, also try Lost & Found Co. before assuming the listing is absent.
- Add it to your Wish List. Do this as soon as the page exists, even if Nintendo has not enabled pre-purchase. Wish-list notifications can alert you when a date, price or purchase button is added.
- Use Pre-purchase when it is enabled. Complete checkout with Nintendo Account funds, a linked card or another payment method supported by your regional eShop. The download normally queues and becomes playable on the release date.
- Check the account region. eShop purchases are tied to the country of the Nintendo Account. A “worldwide” window in a game database does not guarantee that every regional store will publish its page simultaneously.
- Look for a separate physical listing if you prefer a cartridge. If Bit Egg announces a cartridge or Game-Key Card, buy only from the official retailer list or a recognized local retailer. No such SKU currently exists.
Nintendo has not yet published a product ID, a regional price, a preorder bonus or a support page for this release, so any page claiming to provide those details is not an official confirmation.
What Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 features are confirmed?
Bit Egg says the console versions bring the full Steam experience plus controls and multiplayer features designed for Nintendo hardware. The press release groups the features together rather than publishing a complete feature chart for each SKU.

On Nintendo Switch 2, Joy-Con 2 mouse controls are designed for point-and-click aiming. The announcement also describes local and online cooperative play for up to four players, with online sessions through GameShare and GameChat. These are Switch 2 system features; they should not be read as promises that the original Switch has Joy-Con 2 mouse mode.
Original Switch: touch and motion input
The original Switch is included in the release announcement and is described with touchscreen tap, pinch and drag in handheld mode, plus motion controls for guiding the on-screen cursor. Portability is a central part of the pitch for both Nintendo systems.

Co-op scope
Bit Egg and coverage of the announcement describe four-player local and online co-op for the Nintendo versions. The current Steam campaign is presented as single-player, so Nintendo’s co-op is a meaningful platform difference rather than a feature already documented for PC.
Bit Egg has not published a Switch-versus-Switch-2 specification chart, a cross-buy policy or an upgrade price. It also has not confirmed whether every post-launch PC stage will be present in the first Nintendo build, although its press release says the versions include all content currently available on Steam.
What the controls mean in practice
The game is built around pointing at small objects in busy scenes. Handheld Switch players can tap, pinch and drag directly on the screen, while motion control is intended to move the cursor without touching the display. Switch 2 owners can use a Joy-Con 2 as a mouse for a more traditional point-and-click feel. The announcement does not say that a mouse accessory is required, nor does it list every controller combination, so check the final eShop description for local multiplayer accessory requirements.
What languages will the Nintendo release support?
Bit Egg lists English, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German and Korean for the Nintendo launch, with more languages planned. That is a launch-language statement, not a promise that every future update will add every language at the same time.
Is there a physical Lost and Found Co. edition for Switch?
No physical cartridge, Game-Key Card, collector’s edition, amiibo, art book or soundtrack SKU has been announced. Amazon and other retailers therefore have no official Switch checkout page today. Do not confuse a generic Switch console or Joy-Con 2 accessory listing with a preorder for the game.
If Bit Egg later announces a physical product, verify that the listing names the game, the correct Switch platform and an authorized seller. Until then, a digital eShop page is the only plausible Nintendo purchase route.
What has not been announced yet?
Several purchase questions remain deliberately open. There is no Switch MSRP, no confirmation that Switch and Switch 2 will cost the same, no Nintendo product ID, and no information on which regional eShops will go live first. Bit Egg has not said whether the release will be digital-only, cartridge-based or offered as a Game-Key Card. No preorder incentive, amiibo, collector package, ESRB, PEGI or CERO rating has been published for the Nintendo SKUs.
There is also no official cross-buy or Switch 2 upgrade policy. A database field mentioning an “Upgrade To Switch 2 Edition” is not a policy from Bit Egg or Nintendo. Likewise, no Switch launch-day list confirms whether every PC post-launch update will arrive simultaneously. These are details to verify on the final product page rather than assumptions to make from the Steam edition.

Can I play Lost and Found Co. on Steam while I wait?
Yes. The PC and macOS version is available now on Steam, and a free demo is offered. The Steam app is 2101390 and the demo is listed separately as app 2179510. Steam displays the release as March 5, 2026; Gematsu and Wikipedia show March 6, a timezone-related presentation of the same launch.

What kind of game is Lost and Found Co.?
Lost and Found Co. is a 2026 hidden-object adventure from Thai studio Bit Egg Inc., directed by Natachanan Lumpikanon. You play Ducky, a duck transformed into a human intern who works for Goddess Mei’s magical lost-and-found company in Plumville.
Play takes place in isometric, heavily illustrated scenes. You search for objects, pursue optional objectives and use a hint or “juju” system when a scene becomes difficult. A room-decoration mode lets you customize Ducky’s office between investigations.
- More than 30 hand-drawn levels and over 20 hours of exploration, according to Bit Egg.
- More than 10,000 hand-drawn, fully animated objects.
- An original soundtrack with more than 130 tracks.
- A Unity-based PC release that received a June 2026 summer update and an October 1 update adding “Love After Life,” “Fangtastic Feast” and Korean localization.
The game’s tagline is “Every lost item has a story.” Its awards record includes the 2024 SEA Game Awards Grand Jury Award and Best Visual Art, plus Thai Game Fest awards in 2026 including Thai Game of the Year.

How well has the Steam version been received?
Published ratings indicate strong reception, but they describe the existing PC release rather than a tested Switch build. Bit Egg reported a 97% positive Steam rating from more than 3,000 reviews and more than 100,000 copies sold in 2026. More than 100,000 copies had been sold worldwide by August 2026, according to Bit Egg reporting recorded by Wikipedia.
Steam separately shows 97% positive from 1,483 English-language reviews and 93% positive from 182 reviews in the last 30 days, labeled “Very Positive.” Metacritic lists a 90 out of 100 Metascore, labeled Universal Acclaim, from six critic reviews, all positive, and a 9.4 user score from 24 ratings. GameGrin’s 10/10 review called it “An amazing display of passion and attention to detail wrapped up in a lighthearted and anime-like adventure! Call me Mei and Ducky’s #1 fan.” These figures can help you judge whether to try the demo, but they do not predict Nintendo-specific performance or control feel.

Should I wait for Switch or buy the Steam version?
The decision comes down to timing, controls and multiplayer rather than a confirmed price comparison.
Wait for Nintendo if you want:
- Handheld touchscreen play, motion cursor control and console portability.
- Advertised four-player local or online co-op.
- Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 mouse controls and GameShare/GameChat integration.
- A Nintendo-native purchase, even though the date and MSRP are still unknown.
Choose Steam if you want:
- Immediate access instead of waiting for early 2027.
- A free demo before paying.
- Mouse-and-keyboard point-and-click controls.
- A known $17.99 list price, or $14.39 through November 9, 2026.
There is no announced cross-buy or Switch 2 upgrade policy. Buying on Steam should therefore be treated as a separate PC purchase, not a deposit toward a Nintendo copy. Steam’s documented campaign is single-player, so do not buy it expecting the four-player console modes announced for Nintendo.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →How should I track the preorder announcement?
Use several official channels because a release window, eShop page and physical announcement may arrive at different times:
- Search Nintendo eShop periodically for the exact title.
- Follow Nintendo Indie World (@IndieWorldNA) and Nintendo of America announcements.
- Follow the official game account (@_LostAndFoundCo) and Bit Egg.
- Check the Steam page for the current PC edition and demo while you wait.
- Use Gematsu’s game hub as a secondary release-calendar reference, while treating Nintendo and Bit Egg as the authority for date and SKU claims.
On October 29, the official account thanked Nintendo and wrote, “Thank you so much, @NintendoAmerica and @IndieWorldNA, for featuring us! We’re incredibly excited to release on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch next year.” That confirms enthusiasm for the port, not a newly narrowed launch date.
Preorder pitfalls to avoid
- Unverified November date: November 10, 2026 appears on some secondary pages but contradicts the official early-2027 wording.
- Fake retailer pages: without a Nintendo product ID, price and authorized seller, a marketplace listing is not proof of a real SKU.
- Accessory confusion: Joy-Con 2 mouse support is a Switch 2 control feature, not a game bundle or preorder product.
- Region mismatch: a worldwide listing does not mean your country’s eShop has opened pre-purchases.
- Assumed upgrades: neither a Steam purchase nor an original-Switch purchase has a confirmed free Switch 2 upgrade.
How the two choices were assessed
The comparison uses only confirmed differences: whether the game can be played now, whether the price is published, the input methods named by the platform holder, the announced co-op scope and whether a Nintendo SKU actually exists. Unannounced details such as MSRP, cartridge format, preorder bonuses, regional eShop timing, ratings and upgrade pricing are left open rather than estimated.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will Lost and Found Co. support cross-save between Steam and Switch?
No cross-save or cross-progression feature has been announced. The available information describes separate PC and Nintendo releases, so assume saves will remain platform-specific unless Bit Egg publishes a policy.
Recommended Free Tools
Does the Switch version include the Steam updates and extra stages?
Bit Egg says the Nintendo versions include all content currently available on Steam. It has not specified whether every post-launch PC update will ship in the day-one Nintendo build, so the timing of individual stages remains unconfirmed.
Can four people play together on the original Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo coverage advertises up to four-player local and online co-op for the console versions, while Joy-Con 2 mouse mode and GameShare are specifically Switch 2 features. Bit Egg has not released a complete per-SKU feature chart, so accessory and mode requirements should be checked when the eShop page goes live.

Where will the Nintendo version be sold outside the eShop?
No physical or retailer SKU exists yet. If Bit Egg later announces a cartridge or Game-Key Card, the official retailer list and regional stores will be the reliable sources; a generic marketplace page is not proof that a preorder is authorized.
What is the Nintendo Switch price?
No Switch or Switch 2 MSRP has been announced. The Steam price of $17.99, or $14.39 during the sale through November 9, is not a promise of Nintendo pricing.
Is November 10, 2026 the Switch launch date?
No. That date appears in conflicting secondary listings. Nintendo, Bit Egg and the official game account all state early 2027, which is the authoritative window until a day and month are published.
Does the Steam demo work on Nintendo Switch?
No Nintendo demo has been announced. The free demo currently available is the Steam demo, listed separately from the full PC and macOS game.
Will there be a physical collector’s edition or amiibo?
No cartridge, Game-Key Card, collector’s edition, amiibo, art book or soundtrack product has been announced. Recheck official Nintendo and Bit Egg channels if those products are important to you.
Which Nintendo languages are confirmed?
English, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German and Korean are listed for the Nintendo launch, with more languages planned.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Lost and Found Co. has no legitimate Nintendo Switch preorder yet. The confirmed window is early 2027 for Switch and Switch 2; no MSRP, physical SKU or bonus exists today. Add the game to your eShop wish list when its page appears and follow Nintendo, Bit Egg and @_LostAndFoundCo. If you want to play immediately, use the Steam demo or buy the PC/macOS version for $17.99, with the announced $14.39 sale running through November 9, 2026.
