Lenovo’s announcement described the phone as a gaming terminal designed for the “AI gaming era” and as a missing part of the wider Legion ecosystem. Which Legion Y70 configuration should you choose?

  • 12GB/256GB: the lowest launch price and enough capacity for normal gaming, but the least storage headroom for large game libraries.
  • 12GB/512GB: a middle option for users who want more game storage without paying for the highest memory tier.
  • 16GB/512GB: the configuration matching Lenovo’s cited official specification and a sensible choice for heavy multitasking.
  • 16GB/1TB: the maximum reported capacity for users installing many large games and recording clips locally.

All four tiers share the same reported gaming-oriented platform, battery and charging approach; the main decision is how much memory and storage justify the dated price difference.
