How much space does LEGO 71438 need?
Use the stated dimensions as a minimum footprint reference, then add operating and viewing clearance. A shelf that is exactly 10 inches wide or 15.5 inches high may hold the bricks but leave no room to position the model, reach the handle or see the silhouette without leaning around neighboring objects.

Can I still turn the crank in a case?
