To sync iCloud Photos to a Windows PC without damaging your library, install iCloud for Windows from the Microsoft Store, sign in with the same Apple Account as your photo library, enable iCloud Photos, and let the first synchronization finish. Then copy verified originals to a separate, non-synced drive. Can I rename, move, or delete files in the iCloud Photos folder?
