To check Dharti Proteins’ financial history, begin with its annual report—not a headline revenue, profit or EPS figure on a stock-data page. The latest full-year report covered here, for the year ended March 31, 2026, shows nil revenue from operations, ₹2.97 lakh of other income and an ₹84.65 lakh net loss. FY2024-25 also had nil operating revenue. A resolution plan, management change and major share-count reset make FY2026 EPS especially difficult to compare with earlier years. These figures describe the company’s reported history; they are not, by themselves, a buy or sell signal.
Which Dharti Proteins should you check?
First confirm the issuer so you do not mix it up with a similarly named food or protein business. The company is Dharti Proteins Limited, CIN L67120GJ1994PLC022199, and BSE scrip code 531171. Use the company name and at least one identifier when searching exchange filings or a financial-data service.

Secondary annual-history tables, including Screener’s, can help you spot a trend or an apparent inconsistency, but verify important values and their units against the underlying filing. The latest full-year figures in the material covered here are for FY2025-26, ended March 31, 2026. They should not be mistaken for a live update to the company’s latest trading or financial status.
What do Dharti Proteins’ revenue, profit and EPS figures show?
The short version is that the latest annual report shows no operating revenue in either FY2024-25 or FY2025-26, while FY2025-26 ended in a larger net loss that included a substantial exceptional item. The secondary series also shows a positive trailing-twelve-month (TTM) result, but that figure should be reconciled to filings rather than treated as proof of a sustained operating recovery.

| Period | Revenue from operations / sales | Net profit or loss | EPS | How to read it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FY2023-24 | ₹0.00 crore in the secondary annual series | -₹0.19 crore | -₹0.18 | No sales are shown in the secondary series; the year was loss-making. |
| FY2024-25 | Nil in the company report; ₹0.00 crore in the secondary table | -₹0.67 lakh in the company report; approximately -₹0.01 crore in the rounded secondary table | -₹0.01 in the rounded secondary table | The loss was small in absolute terms, but the company reported no operating revenue. |
| FY2025-26 | Nil in the company report | -₹84.65 lakh, or -₹0.8465 crore | Approximately -₹16.93 calculated from the reported loss and 5,00,000 shares; the secondary table displays -₹17.00 | Do not compare EPS mechanically with earlier years: the company’s share capital was reset during the resolution plan. |
| TTM shown by Screener | ₹2.85 crore | ₹2.43 crore | ₹55.07 | A screening signal to investigate, not a clean multi-year operating trend. Reconcile the period and each component to exchange filings. |
Units matter: ₹1 crore equals ₹100 lakh. The annual figures in the secondary series are stated in crore unless otherwise indicated. The FY2024-25 company-reported loss of ₹0.67 lakh is ₹0.0067 crore, which rounds to approximately ₹0.01 crore; the rounded secondary figure is not a more precise alternative to the annual report.
For FY2025-26, the company reported a loss before tax of ₹14.64 lakh, an exceptional item of ₹70.01 lakh and a net loss of ₹84.65 lakh. The exceptional item is material to the movement from the pre-tax loss to the final loss. When assessing performance, keep the reported final loss visible and separately examine what the exceptional item represents in the filing; do not silently remove it or present a loss before exceptional items as the year’s final result.
How can you verify revenue instead of mistaking other income for sales?
Look for the line revenue from operations in the statement of profit and loss. Do not substitute “total income” or a platform’s broad revenue label without checking what it includes. For FY2025-26, Dharti Proteins reported nil revenue from operations and ₹2.97 lakh of other income. Other income is not evidence that the company generated revenue by selling its products or services.
- Open the annual results for the year ended March 31, 2026. Confirm that the filing belongs to Dharti Proteins Limited, not another issuer.
- Find the statement of profit and loss. Read the operating-revenue line separately from other income and total income.
- Repeat for FY2024-25. The company’s report also states nil revenue from operations for that year.
- Check the units and basis. Note whether figures are in rupees, lakh or crore, and whether the filing is standalone or consolidated. Do not combine unlike bases in one trend.
- Compare the same line across years. A change in other income, a one-off receipt or a data provider’s differently defined “sales” field should not be described as operating growth without verification.
Two years of nil reported operating revenue are an important constraint on interpreting the profit history: a positive profit figure in a separate period or data table does not, on its own, establish a continuing revenue-generating business. Establish what period and components produced it.

How should you interpret the loss and exceptional item?
Read the profit statement from operating revenue through the final net result, rather than starting and stopping at one headline number. For FY2025-26, the reported loss before tax was ₹14.64 lakh; the ₹70.01 lakh exceptional item and other statement components culminated in an ₹84.65 lakh net loss. The annual report is the place to inspect the item’s description and accounting treatment. The headline amount alone does not establish whether a similar item will recur.
Keep three questions separate:
- Was there operating activity generating sales? The company reported nil revenue from operations in FY2025-26 and FY2024-25.
- What was the year’s final reported result? FY2025-26 ended with a net loss of ₹84.65 lakh, after the exceptional item.
- What drove the result, and could it recur? Read the notes and resolution-related disclosures; do not assume the exceptional item is either routine or irrelevant.
FY2024-25’s reported net loss was ₹0.67 lakh. That smaller loss should not be read as evidence of a profitable operating business when operating revenue was nil. Likewise, comparing the two losses as if the underlying company and capital structure had stayed unchanged misses the restructuring described in the filings.

EPS depends on both earnings and the number of shares used in the calculation. Dharti Proteins’ paid-up equity share capital fell from ₹10.2772 crore at March 31, 2025, to ₹0.50 crore at March 31, 2026. The company’s report describes cancellation of existing shares and allotments under the approved resolution plan. With that change, an EPS movement can reflect a changed denominator as well as a changed result.
A rough illustration shows the scale of the issue: dividing the FY2025-26 net loss of ₹84.65 lakh by 5,00,000 shares gives an approximate loss of ₹16.93 per share. The secondary annual table displays -₹17.00. This calculation is useful for understanding why the post-restructuring share count matters; it is not a substitute for the company’s audited EPS disclosure. EPS ordinarily uses the relevant weighted-average share count for the reporting period, which can differ from shares outstanding at year-end, particularly when shares are cancelled or allotted during the year.

When checking EPS, locate the company’s reported basic and, where applicable, diluted EPS and read the accompanying share-count note. Check the period the denominator covers and whether the resolution-plan actions took place during that period. Do not treat the secondary series’ FY2026 value as a directly comparable continuation of FY2023-24 and FY2024-25 EPS.
What did the insolvency resolution and management change mean?
The annual figures sit within a corporate restructuring, not an uninterrupted ordinary reporting history. The Ahmedabad Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal approved the resolution plan on November 18, 2025. A new board took control on December 3, 2025. The plan included cancellation of existing shares and allotments, which is central to interpreting the change in paid-up capital and EPS.
These events matter when you build a timeline: the FY2025-26 reporting period spans both the earlier period and the transition after approval and control change. A full-year number may therefore combine periods around a major corporate event. Read the annual report’s notes and disclosures alongside the year-end totals; do not assume that every annual comparison reflects the same business, owners, management or share base.
Listing and trading approvals are also distinct checks. The company reported that BSE listing approval was received on June 16, 2026, and that it had applied for trading approval. Listing approval alone does not establish that trading approval was granted or that the shares are currently trading. Check the exchange’s current issuer and trading notices before relying on a current status; the cited annual report describes the status at the time of its disclosure.

How should you check cash flow and the TTM figures?
Profit and cash flow answer different questions. The secondary cash-flow series shows operating cash flow of approximately -₹0.01 crore in FY2023-24, +₹4.44 crore in FY2024-25 and -₹4.70 crore in FY2025-26. The sharp swings deserve investigation; they should not be presented as a stable cash-generation pattern without reconciling the annual cash-flow statements and related notes.
In each year’s cash-flow statement, examine cash from operations and the explanation for movements in working capital and other relevant items. Consider the restructuring period and exceptional items when making sense of the swings. A positive operating-cash-flow figure in one year does not by itself establish recurring cash generation, particularly when the next reported year is negative and the operating-revenue line is nil.

TTM covers a rolling twelve-month period rather than one financial year, and the company passed through a restructuring period. The available data does not establish a complete, reconciled explanation for every TTM component. Treat those values as a prompt to open the underlying current-period filings and verify the period, units, standalone or consolidated basis and components. Do not quote them as proof that annual operating performance has recovered.

Use secondary services to find a potential trend, then confirm it against issuer and exchange disclosures. Dharti Proteins’ directors’ report distinguishes quarterly results subject to limited review from annual results that are audited. That distinction matters: a quarterly number and an audited annual figure do not have identical assurance status.

- Annual audited results and the annual report: verify operating revenue, other income, profit or loss, exceptional items, EPS, cash flows and the notes explaining them.
- Corporate-action and resolution disclosures: confirm the NCLT-approved plan, share cancellations and allotments, and board-control change.
- Exchange notices: check listing and trading status separately, using the latest available BSE notice rather than assuming that a prior listing approval settled trading status.
- Secondary financial-history pages: use them to spot values or discrepancies, then reconcile each number to a filing. A machine-generated financial-results FAQ with unclear units is not a substitute for opening the underlying result.
For every figure, record the financial period, unit, statement line and reporting basis. If a secondary provider shows a value that differs from the annual report, preserve the distinction: cite the official audited figure for the annual result and label a secondary figure as such rather than quietly blending the two.
What should you conclude before making an investment decision?
The available annual history shows nil operating revenue for FY2024-25 and FY2025-26; FY2025-26 reported ₹2.97 lakh of other income and an ₹84.65 lakh net loss, including a ₹70.01 lakh exceptional item. The share capital reset, insolvency resolution and change in control mean the FY2026 EPS is not a clean continuation of the earlier series. Cash-flow volatility and the unexplained-in-this-table TTM values also need filing-level reconciliation.
Those facts can help you verify what the company reported, but they do not determine whether its shares suit your circumstances or what its future results will be. Before reaching your own view, check the latest exchange filings, the company’s current trading status, the resolution-plan disclosures and subsequent financial statements. Do not rely on a single EPS number, an unverified TTM summary or a small reported loss as a proxy for operating strength.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does nil revenue from operations mean Dharti Proteins had no income at all?
No. The FY2025-26 report records ₹2.97 lakh of other income despite nil revenue from operations. Other income and sales from the company’s operations are different statement categories.
Why does Dharti Proteins’ TTM profit look different from its annual loss?
TTM is a rolling twelve-month measure, not the financial year ended March 31, 2026. Because the company went through a restructuring period, confirm the TTM dates, basis and underlying filings before treating the value as a trend.
Is Dharti Proteins’ BSE listing approval the same as approval to trade?
No. The company reported receiving listing approval on June 16, 2026, and separately said it had applied for trading approval. Check current BSE notices for the status after that disclosure.
Are Dharti Proteins’ quarterly results audited?
The directors’ report says quarterly results are subject to limited review, while annual results are audited. Check the assurance status attached to the particular filing you are using.
