Minecraft’s current official promotion index has included offers associated with LEGO, Kellogg’s, Razer, PDP, Swarovski, Dole, Domino’s, events, and WatchTime. That list is a starting point, not proof that any particular offer remains active: promotions and their deadlines change, so check the live listing and the partner’s terms at the time you act.
Check the seller as well as the promotion
Buy codes from an authorized retailer or through the partner’s usual checkout. A code offered by an unknown individual or an unauthorized reseller is harder to verify and may leave you without account support from Minecraft Player Care. Minecraft Help says Player Care cannot provide account support for purchases from a non-authorized website, reseller, or another player. Keep the seller’s name and transaction record so you know whom to contact if the code fails.

Reject offers that ask for credentials or promise free Coins
A promotion does not need your Microsoft password, recovery information, or a code-sharing arrangement to deliver a reward. Do not give those details to a seller or promotion site. Minecraft’s Marketplace FAQ says there is no legitimate way to earn or get Minecraft Coins for free from a website or person offering them; it identifies such offers as scams. Do not install a tool or follow a third-party login flow to claim free Coins.
What should I check in the promotion terms before paying?
Confirm that the offer fits your location, purchase, account, and intended device before you spend money. Promotion terms may restrict geography, qualifying purchases, account eligibility, platform, quantity, or redemption deadline, so the headline or product packaging alone may not tell you whether you qualify.
- Country or region: Check where the purchase must be made and where the code can be redeemed. Minecraft Help says gift cards must be redeemed in the region where they were purchased.
- Qualifying purchase: Identify the exact product or event purchase required, if any, and whether the promotion applies to the item and seller you intend to use.
- Platform and account: Check which platform or account receives the reward and sign in to the Microsoft account you mean to use before redeeming.
- Quantity and eligibility: Look for limits on the number of codes, purchases, or participating accounts, along with any age or other eligibility terms.
- Deadline: Note both the qualifying-purchase period and the code-redemption deadline if the terms distinguish them. A code can be genuine but no longer redeemable under an expired offer.
- Reward type: Determine whether the offer provides game ownership, Minecoins, downloadable content, or a cosmetic item. These are different outcomes; a promotion for one should not be assumed to provide another.
- Seller and remedy: Record who sold the item or issued the promotion and what proof of purchase they provide. That information helps identify the appropriate support channel if a code is invalid.
Do not assume that a partner’s offer works on every platform or in every country just because the brand is familiar. The terms for that specific offer control.
Where should I buy a Minecraft code, and what evidence should I keep?

Keep the receipt or order confirmation, the seller and transaction details, and any relevant card or promotion information. If the code came from a physical card, retain the card or a private photo of it; if it came by email, keep the order email. Store this evidence privately and do not post a photo or message containing the full code publicly. The code itself is the thing you need to protect, while the receipt and order record help establish where it came from.
Microsoft’s gift-card terms say Microsoft is not responsible if a gift card is lost, stolen, misplaced, or used without permission. Treat a purchased card and its code like cash: keep them secure until you redeem them, and do not send the code to someone claiming they need it to verify your account or unlock a reward.

- Choose the intended account. Confirm the Microsoft account shown in the sign-in flow is the one that should receive the reward. Do not proceed through a page that asks you to give credentials to a seller or an unrelated site.
- Enter the code carefully. Type the 25 characters shown on the card, receipt, retailer email, or official partner offer. Check similar-looking characters and any accidental spaces or typing errors.
- Review the result before confirming. Read the content shown on the official page and make sure it matches the reward you expect. Complete redemption only after checking it.
- Verify the account received the right content. Check the intended account before discarding the card or purchase documentation. Keep the records in case the code or reward needs follow-up.

What should I do if a Minecraft code does not work?
