How do I fix it when Windows Update or an upgrade shows the code?
Apply the following steps only when the code came from Windows Update, an upgrade, or an installation attempt. They are Microsoft-supported general remedies for update failures; they do not prove what 0x0098291C means.

7. Free space and retry
