Yes, you can play the QUIET demo before the full game launches. As of October 29, 2026, open the official QUIET Steam store page, select Download under Download QUIET Demo, let Steam install it, and launch the demo from your Library. The developer’s October 21 announcement says the demo is available to download and play now.
The full game is still listed for a planned Q1 2027 release. That apparent contradiction is normal: Steam supports releasing a playable demo on a game’s store page before the associated full game is available.

How do I download the QUIET demo on Steam?
The download starts from the official QUIET store page; you do not need to wait for the full game’s Q1 2027 release.
- Open Steam. Start the Steam desktop client and sign in to the account you intend to use for the demo.
- Find QUIET. Use Steam’s search field to look for QUIET, or open the game’s official Steam store page directly.
- Locate the demo control. On the store page, find the section labeled Download QUIET Demo.
