Understand refresh rate separately from game frame rate
Apple describes the iPhone 17 Pro display as having “ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz.” That is the display’s stated capability, not evidence that a particular game supports 120 frames per second. Check the game’s own settings and support information if higher refresh rates matter to you.

Set realistic battery expectations
Apple’s comparison page includes battery information for video playback. Video playback is a different workload from gaming, so those figures do not tell you how many hours a given iPhone will last in a particular game. Your game, settings, network use and play pattern matter; the Apple pages cited here do not provide comparable gaming-endurance tests.

Balance price, storage and accessories
Compare the actual checkout price and storage configurations available in your market rather than assuming a fixed price from a model name. The Apple comparison page is dynamic and does not provide a stable price in the version referenced here. Consider how many games you plan to install alongside your photos, video and other apps, and check the game’s listed download and storage needs.
