To change stations in Cyberpunk 2077, open the radio window and select a station, or enable Settings → Gameplay → Radioport → Cycle Stations with Button Press to cycle without opening that window. To change radio loudness, adjust the volume directly in the radio window. The button or key depends on your platform and current control bindings, so check the in-game Controls menu rather than relying on a universal key.
How do I change radio stations?
You can choose a station from the radio window or set the Radioport button to cycle stations. Menu selection is more direct when you want a particular station; button cycling is quicker once you know how your current binding works.

Select a station in the radio window
- Open the radio window using the Radioport or radio control shown in your in-game Controls menu.
- Choose the station you want from the available stations.
- Close the window when you are done. You can adjust the radio volume there as well.
The radio window is the reliable option if you are unsure which station will come next or if a custom key or controller binding changes the button you expect to use.
Enable station cycling with a button press
- Open Settings → Gameplay → Radioport.
- Turn on Cycle Stations with Button Press.
- Use the Radioport button shown in your Controls menu to move through stations without opening the radio window.
CD Projekt Red added this option in Update 2.11. The exact input still depends on platform, keyboard layout, and any custom bindings; check Controls if the expected button does not cycle stations.

How do I turn the music volume up or down?
Open the radio window and adjust its volume control. CD Projekt Red added direct volume adjustment in the radio window with Update 2.1, so you do not need to change unrelated sound settings just to make the radio louder or quieter.
If the radio sounds low compared with other game audio, first adjust it in that window. Vehicle radio loudness has also been changed by patches: Update 2.01 adjusted vehicle-radio volume because it had been too quiet compared with other sounds. That patch note describes a past change, not a guarantee of the current mix on every system. If you previously lowered other sound levels, you may need to rebalance them to suit your preference.

What changes when I listen on foot, on the train, or in a vehicle?
Radioport lets you listen while exploring on foot or riding the NCART train. When you enter a vehicle, it transitions to the vehicle radio; quest-specific music can turn it off.
- On foot or on the NCART: Use the Radioport controls to listen while moving around Night City.
- Entering a vehicle: The audio transitions to the vehicle radio.
- Leaving a vehicle: If you want music to continue, enable Sync to Vehicle Radio under Settings → Gameplay → Radioport.
The same settings category also includes Save Current Station. Enable it if you want the game to resume your current station after loading a saved game.

What should I check if the controls do not work?
Do not assume the default input shown in a guide matches your setup. CD Projekt Red’s Update 2.12 notes include a fix for a PC-specific Radioport rebinding issue on AZERTY keyboards, which underscores why the current in-game mapping matters.
- Open the Controls menu for your platform and check the current Radioport or radio binding.
- If button cycling does nothing, confirm Cycle Stations with Button Press is enabled under Settings → Gameplay → Radioport.
- If the station does not persist after loading a save, check whether Save Current Station is enabled in the same Radioport settings category.
- If you are in a vehicle, remember playback uses the vehicle radio; if you leave it and want music to continue, check Sync to Vehicle Radio.
The cited patch notes establish Radioport behavior and options for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S versions covered by those updates. They do not establish one universal default key or button for every platform, layout, or later game version, so use the Controls menu in your installed version.
