The missing FORSAKEN tile is usually not a broken game. Hello Games identifies FORSAKEN as update 7.10, not as a newly announced expedition. Its October 28 announcement and patch notes describe update activities, but they do not announce a “FORSAKEN Expedition.” If you are looking for the separate Expedition Twenty-Three, Our Journey Continues, Hello Games says to start it from the Expedition Terminus aboard the Space Anomaly or from a fresh expedition save. That expedition was announced on September 16, 2026, for approximately six weeks; its exact current availability was not established in the latest announcement.
Is FORSAKEN a No Man’s Sky expedition?
No. In the checked October 28, 2026 announcement, Hello Games presents FORSAKEN as game update 7.10, not as an expedition with its own Terminus tile. The official announcement and notes are the best explanation for why searching the Space Anomaly for “FORSAKEN” produces nothing: the name refers to the update’s content, not a separately announced expedition.

What the FORSAKEN update actually adds
Update 7.10 directs you into ordinary gameplay rather than an expedition milestone track. Its notes place haunting mementos in deep-space hulks, infested outposts, derelict freighters and planetary digsites. Forsaken traders can be summoned at space outposts to exchange those mementos for corvette modules. None of these activities is an Expedition Terminus reward.

Which expedition might you be trying to start?
The separately named Expedition Twenty-Three is Our Journey Continues. Hello Games announced it on September 16, 2026, as part of the game’s ten-year anniversary and described it as running for approximately six weeks. The announcement also references the developer’s count of 41 named updates.
Hello Games’ wording was: “Our Journey Continues starts today, and will run for approximately six weeks.” That sentence belongs to the September 16 announcement; “today” refers to that publication date, not to the current date. An approximate duration does not establish an exact cutoff, and the available announcement does not prove whether the expedition is startable at every later timestamp.

Two official ways to enter Our Journey Continues
- From an existing save: board the Space Anomaly and use the Expedition Terminus. If the expedition is currently available for your account and platform, its entry appears there.
- From a fresh expedition save: choose the expedition when creating a new game. Hello Games says that this fresh expedition save can later become a Normal Mode save.
If neither route offers the expedition, separate an event-timing question from an installation problem. A missing tile can mean the limited event is no longer available, that your platform has not received the relevant build, or that you are looking for the wrong name. It is not evidence by itself of a server outage or a damaged save.
How do I check that FORSAKEN 7.10 is installed?
First verify the version on the platform where you play. Hello Games’ release log identifies FORSAKEN as version 7.10 and lists PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass and iOS. The entry does not separately label Mac, so do not infer Mac support or incompatibility from that omission alone.
Check the current platform entry in the official release log, then compare it with the version shown by your launcher or console. Do not assume that every platform receives a patch at the same moment. The October 29, 2026 release notice said 7.11 was live on Steam and that other platforms would follow; the release log labels 7.11 for PC and PS5. Platform-specific rollout is therefore a more plausible explanation than a universal unlock failure when one device is updated and another is not.

Version-check checklist
- Close the game completely rather than relying on a suspended console session.
- Open the platform’s update or download screen and allow the pending No Man’s Sky patch to finish.
- Launch the game and record the displayed build number from its title screen or pause-menu information panel.
- Compare the installed build with the 7.10 and 7.11 entries in Hello Games’ release log.
- If you play through Game Pass or on iOS, verify that the app or subscription installation itself has updated; “free to try” on iOS refers to the beginning of the game, not unrestricted access to the full game.
A version check tells you whether the update is present. It cannot create an expedition that Hello Games has not announced.
Where should I look for FORSAKEN content after updating?
Once 7.10 is installed, stop searching the Expedition Terminus and follow the update’s normal activity loop.
Find haunting mementos
The 7.10 notes identify four types of locations: deep-space hulks, infested outposts, derelict freighters and planetary digsites. Visit those locations during ordinary exploration and look for the update’s memento-related interactions. They are update collectibles and objectives, not expedition milestones.
Use Forsaken traders
At space outposts, summon a Forsaken trader to exchange collected mementos for corvette modules. If the trader is not present, confirm that you are interacting with a space outpost and that your game has loaded the 7.10 content; do not expect the trader to appear at the Expedition Terminus.

Courier missions have an additional requirement that does not apply to all FORSAKEN content. Hello Games’ patch notes state: “Travellers with a corvette and gravitino coil can now undertake package courier missions from deep-space outposts.” You therefore need both a corvette and a Gravitino Coil for those package missions. That requirement does not control whether the FORSAKEN update is installed or whether an expedition tile exists.
Why is a FORSAKEN mission marker missing?
FORSAKEN introduces a Minimal HUD mode that hides non-essential markers and reduces some HUD elements. If the activity exists but its on-screen icon is absent, inspect the HUD setting before treating the mission as unavailable.

- Go to the HUD or interface settings.
- Find Minimal HUD and turn it off temporarily.
- Return to the relevant location and check whether the marker reappears.
This can restore a hidden marker, but it cannot add an expedition choice to the Terminus. An absent icon and an absent expedition tile are different problems: the first may be a display setting, while the second concerns event identity, timing or platform state.

What should I do if the game crashes or an interaction fails?
The October 29, 2026 7.11 notice addressed crashes involving the Anomaly teleporter and warping. That notice is not an announcement of a FORSAKEN-expedition unlock bug. Treat a crash as a version- or platform-specific technical issue rather than as proof that a missing expedition tile should exist.
Record the information Hello Games needs for a reproducible report:
- Platform and edition, such as PC, PS5, Xbox or Switch.
- Installed version number, including whether you are on 7.10 or 7.11.
- The exact screen or activity that fails: Terminus entry, trader interaction, courier mission, teleporter or warp.
- The sequence of actions that reproduces the problem.
- Whether the problem occurs on one save or on a fresh save as well.
Submit that information through Hello Games’ official bug-report channel. There is no official basis in the available notices for deleting saves, clearing caches, changing the system clock, disabling security software or using a save editor as a FORSAKEN access fix. Those actions can create new risks without addressing a naming or event-timing misunderstanding.
Can buying a physical copy make the expedition appear?
Only someone who does not own No Man’s Sky might need a physical game copy to obtain the base game. A new disc or cartridge, a PC utility, a subscription, merchandise or a collectible cannot make an unannounced FORSAKEN expedition appear at the Terminus.

If you purchase the game, update it on the relevant platform afterward. Ownership and patch availability are separate: a physical copy supplies the game, while Hello Games’ platform release determines when update content is installed.
What happens to rewards from Our Journey Continues?
Rewards already earned during Our Journey Continues can be redeemed across saves through the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion aboard the Space Anomaly. Reward redemption is separate from starting the expedition and does not prove that the event itself remains open. If the expedition is unavailable, the Companion can still be the correct place to claim rewards you previously earned.

Follow this sequence so that an absent event tile is not confused with a missing update feature.
- Name the content. Decide whether you mean the FORSAKEN 7.10 update or Expedition Twenty-Three, Our Journey Continues.
- Check the entry point. An expedition uses the Space Anomaly’s Expedition Terminus or a fresh expedition save. FORSAKEN update content uses normal exploration and outpost interactions.
- Check the event window. Our Journey Continues was announced for approximately six weeks from September 16, 2026. Without a newer official status notice, do not assume a precise end date or ongoing availability.
- Check the platform build. Compare your installed version with Hello Games’ release log and account for staggered rollouts.
- Check the specific prerequisite. For courier missions, verify the corvette and Gravitino Coil. For a missing marker, inspect Minimal HUD.
- Report only reproducible technical failures. Include platform, version, failing screen and steps instead of deleting saves or changing system settings.

Players sometimes describe an unavailable event with phrases such as “I can’t access the expedition at the Anomaly” or “New Expedition Coming Soon.” Those expressions describe player experiences and older discussions; they do not establish that FORSAKEN launched an expedition or that an October 2026 server outage exists.
Use current first-party names and version numbers instead. “FORSAKEN 7.10” identifies the update. “Our Journey Continues” identifies Expedition Twenty-Three. Keeping those names separate makes the correct troubleshooting path obvious.

Bottom line: what fixes the missing FORSAKEN tile?
There is no FORSAKEN expedition tile to unlock in the checked Hello Games materials. Install the 7.10 update, find its mementos and traders through normal gameplay, and reserve the Expedition Terminus for a genuinely available expedition such as Our Journey Continues. If Our Journey Continues itself is missing, verify the event’s current status, your platform rollout and your installed build before treating the problem as a bug.
