Apple’s rumored smart-home hub may come in Silver, Space Gray, Starlight, and Rose Pink, according to setup-screen images shared by leaker pdfu and reported by 9to5Mac. The colors are not confirmed by Apple, and other reporting has described a gray aluminum finish instead.
Which colors could the “HomePad” come in?
The four finishes named by leaker pdfu are Silver, Space Gray, Starlight, and Rose Pink. 9to5Mac reported on October 1, 2026, that pdfu posted images that appear to show the setup process for Apple’s rumored smart-home hub. The report says the Photo Face preview art on the setup screen appears to correspond to the hardware color reported by the device. That is leak-based evidence, not an Apple announcement. What supports the four-color claim?
Leaked setup-screen images
The most direct evidence is pdfu’s reported setup-screen imagery, which 9to5Mac says appears to show the hub’s setup process and color-related preview art. The images do not amount to a confirmation from Apple.

A separate code reference
MacRumors reported that contributor Aaron Perris found the same four color names in macOS 26.7 Release Candidate code in August 2026. Its account describes the reference as an unspecified Home accessory, so the code offers context for the names but does not conclusively tie all four finishes to this hub. Read MacRumors’ report.

Why is there also a gray-finish description?
9to5Mac reports that Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman described the hub as having “Apple’s standard gray aluminum finish,” without naming other color options. That description does not establish whether gray is one version, the only version, or an earlier understanding. It therefore does not resolve whether the four finishes in the leak will be offered. See 9to5Mac’s account of the conflicting description.
Is “HomePad” the product’s official name?
No. “HomePad” is a common media label for the rumored device; Apple has not confirmed that name in the reporting reviewed here. The product itself remains unannounced in these reports, so the color list and the name should both be treated as provisional. 9to5Mac’s report.
