What parts of my character can Change Appearance edit?
The supported editor is cosmetic. It can change the identity and look settings exposed by the character creator, plus ordinary clothing and appearance choices; it does not provide a general account or progression reset.
Heritage and parent selections
You can revise the heritage and parent selections available in the editor. These settings influence the character’s facial foundation, so make all related choices before accepting the fee rather than assuming a later edit will be free.

General appearance and apparel

Why the editor cannot do this
The gender restriction is separate from the appearance controls. Even if the editor shows heritage, face, clothing, and other cosmetic options, it does not convert the character’s gender or reopen the original gender-selection step.

Create a separate GTA Online character with the gender you want. That is a character-management decision, not an appearance edit: the new character has its own identity and does not transform the original one. Check the character-selection screen carefully before creating it so you do not spend the appearance fee expecting a gender switch.
Can I reset my GTA Online skills or stats?
