To change audio in Genshin Impact, open the in-game phone or menu and go to Settings > Audio Settings. Use the language toggle in the upper-right corner to choose a voice-over language. A listed language is not necessarily already installed on your device. Voice packs can be managed to save storage, and HoYoverse notes that selected packs may download automatically when new content arrives. If the language you want is listed but not immediately usable, check the in-game voice-pack management screen rather than assuming that changing the toggle alone has finished the download. The menu can show the pack choices and status for your installation. The documented instructions do not promise that all four packs are preinstalled, nor do they give one download size that applies to every device or update.
How do I make the music quieter without lowering voices?

This is the direct control to try when the background score feels too prominent relative to speech or effects. The scale is a range shown in the settings reference, not a measurement of loudness in decibels: a setting of 5 should not be interpreted as a defined percentage of maximum volume. Your device’s overall output level also remains separate from the game’s individual sliders.
If dialogue is too quiet but music is fine, raise Dialogue Volume rather than raising the overall device volume first. If effects are the problem, adjust SFX Volume. Repair is a later step in the documented sequence, not the first thing to try. Start by confirming the chosen voice-over, then clear cache, close background apps, and restart fully. If those checks do not help, use the pre-login Repair option to check or fix assets. If you contact support, a video recording is specifically requested for a continuing wrong-language issue.
What if there is no sound or the volume is low?
