What exactly do CRACK cheats disable?
Using the developer-command unlock disables three Steam systems together: Achievements, Stats and Leaderboards. The lock applies after you enter unlock_commands 741852963; it is not limited to a particular cheat such as a money or teleport command. In other words, entering the password is the important point. 9to5Gaming’s 28 October 2026 guide reports that CRACK displays an in-game notification when commands are unlocked. The notice says achievements and stats remain disabled until a game restart. Its FAQ describes the same behavior as: “Using the developer commands turns off Steam Achievements, Stats, and Leaderboards until you restart the game.”
That makes the practical rule simple: use the developer console for a sandbox session, then quit and relaunch before attempting an achievement. If a clean 100% profile matters, never enter the unlock command in the session where you are earning achievements. Opening the console shortcut by itself is not documented as the trigger; the documented trigger is unlocking the commands.
How do I unlock CRACK’s developer console?
You need a running CRACK game and a keyboard. The console is hidden by default and appears only after the keyboard shortcut and password are entered.
- Start CRACK and load a game.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + ~. The tilde key is usually located below Escape, although keyboard layouts can place the symbol elsewhere.
- Type

Every other command family listed for the developer console sits behind unlock_commands and therefore belongs to the achievement-disabling set. That includes commands that appear harmless because they only alter presentation or time, as well as commands that change progression. If you want to preserve achievement tracking, stay with fog and mute_pa and do not test additional commands “just to see what happens.”

For example, simend or simend escape can skip toward an ending, but entering the unlock needed to run it also removes achievement credit for that session. The command can spoil the route while also making the resulting ending ineligible for Steam credit during that run.
Is the achievement lock permanent?
No. The documented restriction lasts until you restart the game, not for the life of your Steam account or achievement list. This is a session flag, not a permanent ban from the 40-achievement list.
- Close CRACK completely; merely closing the console is not enough.
- Launch CRACK again.

Achievement-hunting communities commonly prohibit external trainers, Cheat Engine and Steam Achievement Manager because those tools bypass in-game actions. CRACK’s built-in console is a different technical category, but the game itself still marks an unlocked-console session as ineligible. Well Done and Free Range are separate ending achievements. Using an ending command during an unlocked-console session can both bypass the intended route and leave that session unable to award the achievement. The same session rule applies to ordinary, non-hidden objectives: the game does not publish a smaller list of achievements that remain active while cheats are enabled.

The advice here applies to Steam app 4312190, released 26 October 2026 for Windows, macOS and Linux. Steam lists single-player, online co-op, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing and full controller support. The store lists 16 interface and subtitle languages, with full English audio.
