If a picture appears in Bluey’s Happy Snaps scrapbook but not in your console’s photo album, it may not be missing: the game keeps its pictures in the scrapbook, while sharing requires a separate screenshot made with the console’s capture feature. First check the scrapbook; then capture the picture on screen and export that console screenshot. Why aren’t my Bluey Happy Snaps photos saving?

If the picture is there, the game recorded it, even if no corresponding screenshot appears in the console’s album.
How do I share a picture from Bluey’s Happy Snaps?

On Nintendo Switch: send a screenshot to a smartphone
- With the desired picture on screen, use the Switch’s screenshot button to capture it.
- Press HOME and open Album.
- Select the screenshot you just made, then choose Sharing and Editing.
- Choose Send to Smartphone and follow the on-screen wireless-transfer instructions.
Nintendo’s support guidance says screenshots can be stored in system memory or on a microSD card. A wireless transfer batch can include up to 10 screenshots and one video. If you have more captures to send, transfer them in separate batches.
On PlayStation or Xbox
Gameloft lists Bluey’s Happy Snaps for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, as well as Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Use the platform’s built-in capture and sharing features after confirming the picture in the scrapbook. What if a Switch screenshot will not transfer to my phone?
If the Switch offers the transfer option but the phone does not connect, try joining the console’s wireless network manually. Nintendo’s instructions provide a Trouble Connecting option (or the + button) that displays the Switch network name (SSID), security information, and password.
- Start the smartphone transfer from the selected screenshot.
- If the QR-based connection fails, choose Trouble Connecting or press + on the Switch to show its network details.
- On the phone, open Wi-Fi settings and join the network shown by the console using the displayed security details.
- If the phone keeps using mobile data instead of the Switch access point, temporarily turn mobile data off while making the connection.
Once connected, continue the transfer on the console and phone. This is a wireless connection between the devices; it is separate from confirming that the photo exists in the game scrapbook.

Why is “Send to Smartphone” missing?
Nintendo warns that some software does not support wireless screenshot or video transfer. If the command is absent, first make sure you are in the Switch Album and have selected a capture, then check whether the game and platform support that transfer method. A missing transfer command is not, by itself, evidence that your scrapbook picture or saved game is damaged.
- The photo is in the scrapbook, but not in Album: make a console screenshot while the picture is displayed.

On Switch, captures may be saved in system memory or on a microSD card.
