For most Minecraft players, the best jitter-clicking mouse is the wired Glorious Model O: its 67 g weight, symmetrical shell, USB connection, 1,000 Hz polling and adjustable 4–16 ms debounce make it an easy starting point. Choose a Roccat Kone XP or Kone Pro if a larger ergonomic shell keeps your hand steadier, a Bloody A70 only if specialist drag-click or high-CPS behavior is your priority, and the 57 g Glorious Model O 2 PRO if you want a newer wireless-capable design. None of these mice creates jitter-clicking skill or guarantees a CPS result. Technique, grip, debounce, surface friction, firmware, hand condition, unit variation and server filtering all change what Minecraft actually accepts.
What makes a mouse good for jitter clicking?
A suitable mouse gives your hand a controllable platform for producing rapid, consistent clicks. The important characteristics are not a marketing CPS number but the combination of weight, shape, click registration, connection and ordinary gaming quality.

- Weight and fatigue: A lighter mouse takes less effort to move and can reduce fatigue during long sessions. Extremely light shells may feel less planted, however, especially if you use a palm grip or make wide, fast movements.
- Shape and grip: Symmetrical shells accommodate more hand positions and often suit fingertip or claw grips. Larger right-handed ergonomic shells can support the palm and reduce unwanted movement, but they generally sacrifice some agility.
- Click registration: Stable registration and sensible debounce settings matter more than the lowest advertised response time. Lower debounce can permit faster repeated transitions, while an overly low setting may create accidental double clicks.
- Connection and latency: A wired USB link removes battery and radio variables. A 1,000 Hz polling rate means the mouse can report every 1 ms in the specified mode; it is a responsiveness specification, not a promise of higher CPS.
- Normal-game performance: Sensor tracking, button feel, cable flexibility and build quality still matter when you are playing survival, building or other games rather than testing clicks.
- Server acceptance: A click counter can record transitions that Minecraft or a server later filters. Anti-cheat rules may reject unusually high bursts regardless of what the mouse reports.
Which mice are the strongest choices?
The table separates documented specifications from practical positioning. Where a source does not establish a value, it is marked “not stated” rather than inferred.
| Mouse | Weight | Connection and polling | Click and debounce details | Best fit | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Glorious Model O wired | 67 g | USB 2.0; 1,000 Hz (1 ms) | Omron mechanical switches rated for 20 million clicks; adjustable 4–16 ms debounce, 10 ms default | Most players wanting a light, symmetrical wired mouse | Its shape may not suit larger hands or palm grips; low debounce can cause double clicks |
| Roccat Kone XP / Kone Pro | Not stated in the cited material; check the exact model | Varies by model and edition | Textured buttons and low-debounce firmware are reported; exact settings vary | Players who value ergonomic support and stability | Heavier, larger shells are less agile; Kone Pro, Kone Pro Air and Kone XP are not interchangeable |
| Bloody A70 | Not stated | Selectable 125–1,000 Hz report rate | Light Strike switches; manufacturer-described response under 0.2 ms; zero-bounce behavior; more than 20 million left/right clicks | Specialist drag-click or high-CPS enthusiasts | Those specifications do not prove a jitter-click advantage, and drag clicking is a different technique |
| Glorious Model O 2 PRO | 57 g | USB and 2.4 GHz wireless; 1,000 Hz; up to 80 hours at 1,000 Hz | Optical switches rated for 100 million clicks; adjustable 4–16 ms debounce | Players wanting very low weight and wireless flexibility | The cited specifications are not a Minecraft-specific CPS test |
Is the wired Glorious Model O the best default?
For a broad range of jitter-clicking players, yes. The wired Model O combines a 67 g body with a symmetrical shape, so it is easy to reposition and generally compatible with fingertip or claw control. Its USB 2.0 connection and 1,000 Hz (1 ms) polling setting avoid wireless battery and radio variables.

What the documented specifications say
- PMW-3360 sensor
- Omron mechanical main switches rated for 20 million clicks
- Six buttons
- Tracking rated at more than 250 IPS
- 50G acceleration and a maximum 12,000 DPI
- Adjustable 4–16 ms debounce, with 10 ms as the default
The adjustable debounce is useful because hands and individual switches behave differently. Start at the default rather than immediately selecting the minimum. Lower the value gradually only if your clicks remain clean, and raise it again when the mouse produces unwanted double inputs. A minimum setting is not automatically better in Minecraft.

A very light symmetrical mouse can feel nervous to someone who anchors the palm or prefers a substantial shell. If your fingers slide off the buttons, your wrist tenses to keep the mouse stable, or ordinary aiming feels imprecise, an ergonomic Kone model may produce more consistent real-world control despite weighing more.
Are Roccat Kone XP and Kone Pro better for ergonomic control?
They are the ergonomic alternative rather than the lightweight default. Buying guides describe the Kone family as comfortable all-around gaming mice with textured buttons, strong sensors and low-debounce firmware that can support rapid clicking. The larger shell can make your hand feel planted, which is valuable when stability matters more than minimum weight.
Choose the Kone route when shape matters most
Right-handed players who prefer claw-palm or palm support should consider the Kone family first. A stable hand position can prevent the involuntary movement that undermines a high click rate. The trade-off is agility: a larger, heavier mouse takes more effort to lift, turn and reposition than a 57 g or 67 g design.
Check the exact Kone model before buying
Kone Pro, Kone Pro Air and Kone XP differ in shell design, connection and availability. Do not assume that a review of one model describes another. Wireless and wired versions also introduce different battery and connection considerations. Confirm the model name, dimensions, weight, connection type and the debounce controls offered by its current software or firmware.

Editorial and community CPS ranges reported for Kone models are benchmarks, not standardized laboratory measurements. They vary with technique, hand condition, debounce behavior and the individual unit. Treat them as an indication that rapid clicking is possible, not as a number you will necessarily reproduce.

When does the Bloody A70 make sense?
The Bloody A70 is a specialist choice for someone who explicitly wants drag-click or high-CPS behavior. Tech coverage describes Bloody material as supporting drag click and lists Light Strike switches, click response below 0.2 ms, zero-bounce behavior, more than 20 million left/right clicks, a maximum 6,200 CPI and selectable 125–1,000 Hz report rates.
Why its specifications need careful interpretation
“Zero-bounce” filtering is intended to suppress unintended switch bounce. A drag click deliberately creates many rapid transitions by moving a finger across the button surface, so a feature that is useful for clean ordinary clicks does not automatically make jitter clicking faster. The cited specifications do not establish a standardized Minecraft CPS result.
Who should buy it?
Choose the A70 only when specialist rapid-input behavior is more important than having a conventional all-purpose mouse. If you mainly jitter click and also want predictable sensor behavior, comfortable everyday buttons and broad game compatibility, the Model O or a Kone model is a safer starting point.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Is the Glorious Model O 2 PRO worth considering?
The Model O 2 PRO is the newer lightweight alternative. It weighs 57 g, uses a BAMF 2.0 optical sensor, has optical switches rated for 100 million clicks, supports up to 26,000 DPI and 650 IPS tracking, and offers 1,000 Hz polling over USB or 2.4 GHz wireless. Battery life is specified at up to 80 hours at 1,000 Hz.
Its debounce range is adjustable from 4 to 16 ms. That gives you the same kind of experimentation available on the wired Model O while adding wireless flexibility and a lower weight. The specification sheet does not include a Minecraft jitter-click test, so describe it as a modern, spec-led option rather than a proven CPS leader.
When the PRO model is the better fit
- You want the lowest weight among the documented options.
- You need a wireless mode for a cleaner desk or flexible positioning.
- You also care about long switch life and high-end sensor tracking for ordinary games.
Use wired mode when you want to remove wireless variables during troubleshooting. Wireless operation is not evidence of a higher or lower CPS by itself.

How should you configure a mouse for jitter clicking?
Configuration cannot replace hand technique, but a repeatable setup helps you identify whether a problem comes from the mouse, your grip or the server.
- Connect the mouse directly to the computer. For a wired model, use a reliable USB port and avoid adding an unpowered hub while troubleshooting. For a wireless-capable model, test wired mode first so battery and radio conditions are not variables.
- Select the highest supported polling rate. On the documented Glorious models this is 1,000 Hz. Remember that polling rate controls report frequency; it does not set a CPS ceiling.
- Begin with the default debounce. The Model O and Model O 2 PRO default to 10 ms within a 4–16 ms range. Record your starting value before making changes.
- Lower debounce in small steps. Test each setting with normal single clicks, double clicks and short Minecraft sessions. Stop lowering it when accidental extra clicks appear, then return to the last clean value.
- Keep sensitivity consistent. DPI changes pointer movement, not the physical number of switch transitions. Choose a comfortable sensitivity for ordinary play rather than chasing a number in a CPS tester.
- Inspect the cable and surface. Cable drag can pull against a light mouse. Route the cable with slack and use a surface that lets the feet move smoothly without making your grip slip.
- Save a normal-game profile. A setting that produces unusual transitions in a test may be unpleasant for menus, inventory management or other games. Keep a conservative profile available.
Which grip and shape should you choose?
Grip compatibility is more important than a small difference in advertised weight. Try to keep the clicking fingers relaxed while the thumb and little finger stabilize the shell.
Fingertip grip
Only the fingertips contact the mouse, leaving the palm free. It offers precise, small movements and pairs naturally with a light symmetrical shell, but it can fatigue the hand if the mouse is too narrow or you squeeze it to maintain control.
Claw grip
The palm lightly touches the rear while the fingers arch over the buttons. This often balances rapid clicking and aiming, which is why a Model O-style shape can work well. Button height and texture matter: your finger should not slide during the vibration of a click.
Palm or claw-palm grip
More of the hand rests on the shell. A larger ergonomic Kone shape may feel steadier and reduce wrist tension, although the extra mass can make rapid repositioning slower. If you regularly lift the mouse, weight becomes more noticeable.
How can you test CPS without fooling yourself?
Use a CPS test as a repeatability check, not as proof of what a Minecraft server will accept. Perform several short runs under the same conditions and compare the spread rather than celebrating one peak.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
- Use the same surface, grip, debounce setting and polling rate for every run.
- Warm up your hand, then take breaks; fatigue changes both speed and control.
- Record average and best results separately. A brief burst is not the same as a sustainable rate.
- Repeat on another day to expose hand-condition and unit variation.
- Test ordinary single clicks afterward. If they become unreliable, the setting is too aggressive for practical use.
Technique, surface friction, firmware filtering, debounce and the individual mouse all affect the count. A tester may count transitions that the game client or server discards, so a higher displayed CPS does not necessarily produce more accepted hits.
Do latency measurements prove which mouse clicks fastest?
No. Latency measurements are useful context but cannot create a universal jitter-click ranking. A CHERRY technical backgrounder reproduces TechPowerUp pre-release measurements of 0.9 ms for the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 and 3.8 ms for Glorious Model O/O-/D/D- Wireless in that comparison. Those figures describe measured click latency in that test context; they are not measurements of the wired Model O, not CPS results and not a guarantee of in-game advantage.

Can a server reject a high CPS?
Yes. Minecraft servers can filter or reject bursts that appear excessive, and the same physical input may be treated differently by different rule sets. Guides discussing rapid clicking specifically warn that servers such as Hypixel may reject very high CPS bursts.
Read the rules for the server you use before configuring aggressive debounce or practicing a rapid-input technique. An adjustable mouse setting does not bypass anti-cheat policy, and a CPS tester cannot tell you whether a server will accept the resulting events.

| Your priority | Most sensible starting point | Why | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lightweight, wired, general-purpose jitter clicking | Glorious Model O wired | 67 g, symmetrical shape, USB and adjustable debounce | That the shell suits your hand and the lowest settings do not cause double clicks |
| Maximum hand support and stability | Roccat Kone XP or Kone Pro | Ergonomic shell, textured buttons and low-debounce firmware reported for the family | Exact model, weight, connection and current availability |

What common buying and setup mistakes should you avoid?
- Buying by peak CPS: A headline number may come from a short burst, a particular surface or a favorable unit. It is not a standardized result.
- Assuming minimum debounce is best: Too little filtering can create accidental double clicks and make ordinary play frustrating.
- Ignoring shape: A 10 g weight advantage disappears if the mouse forces your wrist or fingers into an unstable position.
- Confusing drag clicking with jitter clicking: They produce rapid inputs through different hand motions and may be treated differently by firmware and servers.
- Assuming polling rate sets CPS: A 1,000 Hz setting reports frequently; it does not manufacture additional switch transitions.
- Comparing unlike models: Kone Pro, Kone Pro Air and Kone XP have different designs, while wireless and wired versions introduce different variables.
- Testing only in a counter: Verify that single clicks, aiming and inventory actions remain reliable before deciding that a setting is usable.
- Forgetting server rules: A technically successful click pattern can still be rejected or prohibited online.
What is the final recommendation?
Start with the wired Glorious Model O if its 67 g symmetrical shape fits your grip; it offers the clearest balance of low weight, wired consistency and adjustable debounce in the documented choices. Move to a Roccat Kone XP or Kone Pro when ergonomic support produces better control than a lighter shell. Pick the Bloody A70 only for a deliberate drag-click or specialist high-CPS experiment, and choose the Model O 2 PRO when 57 g weight and wireless flexibility matter more than having a Minecraft-specific performance claim.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can jitter clicking damage a mouse’s switches?
The documented products use switches with stated durability ratings, but a rating is a design target rather than a guarantee for every user. Repeated force, debris, accidental drops and unusually aggressive techniques can still shorten a particular unit’s life.
Does a 1,000 Hz polling rate increase clicks per second?
No. Polling rate controls how often the mouse reports its current state to the computer. It can reduce the interval between reports, but your hand, switch behavior, firmware and the game determine how many click transitions are generated and accepted.
Why is my CPS tester higher than my Minecraft hit rate?
The tester may count every detected transition, including bursts that the client or server filters. Anti-cheat logic, network timing and server-specific limits can reduce accepted actions even when the local counter shows a high number.
