ARC Raiders Projects are personal, multi-stage objective chains completed during ordinary raids. You collect specified items or meet action goals, return to Speranza, claim each stage, and unlock the next one. Projects become a permanent feature at Raider level 20 (the Sheltered Retreat card can display level 18), and you can contribute to several tracks at once. As checked on 29 October 2026, Sheltered Retreat, Trophy Display, and the time-limited Soul’s Offering are active; the Expedition Project is paused until early 2027. Start with Sheltered Retreat because completing it unlocks the Outpost and Research Station, prerequisites for Amplified Weapons. Then do Soul’s Offering before 16 November, take the inexpensive early Trophy Display stages, and save its reactor and accelerator hand-ins until your upgrade economy can spare them.

What are Player Projects in ARC Raiders?

A Project is a linear chain of stages with a personal objective and a reward at each step. Donation stages consume named items when you submit them; action stages count things such as damage, photographs, kills, or a specific interaction. You must return to the Projects screen in Speranza and claim a completed stage before its successor opens.

Projects are not shared community bars. Your Raider owns the progress, and an Expedition reset does not erase Trophy Display progress. Design director Virgil described Projects as an expandable framework for major, seasonal, holiday, and event objectives. The first major track was intended to be Expedition, while later updates added other reward structures.

How do you unlock and open Projects?

Reach Raider level 20, then open the Raider menu in Speranza and choose Projects. The Sheltered Retreat card introduced with Frozen Trail 2.0 may show “Unlocks at Level 18,” but the general system and Expedition requirement are documented as level 20; treat the card as a project-specific display rather than a replacement for the system requirement.

  3. Read every stage before your next Topside run and mark the items or action target you can complete.
  4. After extracting, return to Speranza, submit donations or claim action progress, and claim the reward. Contributions are consumed when committed.

Which ARC Raiders Projects are live now?

Project Status on 29 October 2026 Shape Main reason to do it
Sheltered Retreat Live since 8 October 2026; no announced closing date Three stages Unlocks the Outpost and Research Station
Souls Offering (usually written Soul’s Offering) 27 October–16 November 2026 Three donations and one action stage Short-lived weapons, attachments, fireworks, and cosmetics
Trophy Display Live since 27 January 2026; no announced end date Five long donation stages 150 Raider Tokens, blueprints, weapons, and a 300,000-Coin completion payout
Expedition Paused after its fifth window closed on 29 September 2026 Caravan preparation and one-way reset Prestige cosmetics, stash space, tokens, and temporary consecutive buffs when it returns

Why should Sheltered Retreat come first?

Sheltered Retreat is the only current Project that opens a system rather than simply paying out loot. Finishing all three stages unlocks the Outpost, its furniture and room upgrades, and the Research Station. The Outpost is menu-managed rather than walkable in Frozen Trail 2.0.

Stage 1: Study Old Outposts

On Blue Gate, photograph any farmland house around Ruined Homestead. Bring a camera in your loadout and accept the quest first, as the official reminder specifies. The reward is the Advanced Camera Blueprint.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Stage 2: Gather Building Materials

Submit 3 Planks, 5 Sheet Metal, 10 ARC Alloy, and 3 Advanced Electrical Components for the Red Light Stick Blueprint. Planks and Sheet Metal are the usual bottlenecks. Community routes point to residences around Dam Battlegrounds and the Pendola Pass Supermarket for Planks, and industrial containers in Pendola Pass for Sheet Metal. Celeste’s post-2.0 furniture-material trades can provide another source.

Stage 3: Safeguard the Building Site

Deal 800 damage to flying ARC and 300 damage to Bullies. Bullies are a Frozen Trail enemy commonly listed around Piazza della Rupe on Pendola Pass. The rewards are the Hotel Chair Design, 15 Planks, and 5 Durable Cloth.

What the Research Station enables

Research Station upgrades require matching Outpost levels. The documented costs are:

Level Materials
Research Station 1 3 Mini Pump, 35 Planks, 5 Battered Paperback
Research Station 2 3 Calculator, 3 Raider Logbook, 5 Skulker Targeter
Research Station 3 3 Differential Microphone, 3 Exodus Technical Handbook, 6 Bully Fragmenter
Research Station 4 3 Thermal Shaker, 3 ARC Data Module, 1 Frigate Inductor

Amplified Weapons require Gunsmith level 4 and Research Station level 4. Gunsmith 4 costs 3 Radial Press, 3 Magnetic Accelerator, and 1 Emperor Modulator, so do not blindly spend every Magnetic Accelerator on Trophy Display stage 4.

What does Soul’s Offering give you?

Soul’s Offering is a cheap seasonal track available from 27 October through 16 November 2026. Its lore has Celeste collecting offerings for the Contradas of Ferrovia, Murteta, Vaulto, and Speranza. The patch heading spells it “Souls Offering,” while the lore and Project page use “Soul’s Offering.” The in-game stage titles are not fully documented, so use the active card for their names.

  • Donation: 1 Dead Flowers, 2 Rock Salt, 15 ARC Alloy, and 1 Expired Respirator. Rewards: Stiletto II, Extended Barrel I, Angled Grip II, and Stable Stock II.
  • Donation: 3 Dead Flowers, 2 Railway Lantern, 15 Advanced ARC Powercell, and 10 Remote Raider Flare. Rewards: Torrente II, Compensator III, Extended Medium Mag III, and Stable Stock III.
  • Donation: 2 Fancy Plate, 1 Mask Fragment, 1 Insulation Roll, and 5 Fertilizer. Rewards: Vulcano I, Shotgun Silencer, Extended Shotgun Mag III, and 3 Fireworks Box.
  • Action: Set off a firework on the rooftop of the Santa Maria Houses to honor the fallen. Rewards: Pilgrim Backpack and Offering Display Table Design.

Because the track closes on 16 November, finish it before spending time on Trophy Display’s expensive late stages. Its requirements do not compete with Queen Reactors or Matriarch Reactors.

What are the Trophy Display stages and rewards?

Trophy Display has no announced end date and was designed to survive Expedition resets. The wiki labels it Temporary, but it has remained active since January. Its five stages award exactly 150 Raider Tokens in total, plus blueprints, weapons, cosmetics, and 300,000 Coins at completion.

Stage 1: Roaming Threats

  • 3 Rusted Bolts → 10 Mod Components
  • 15 Pop Trigger → 3 Power Rod
  • 15 Tick Pod → 10 Raider Tokens
  • 5 Surveyor Vault → Light Gun Parts Blueprint

Small ARC supply Pop Triggers and Tick Pods quickly. Surveyor Vaults are the difficult hand-in, so this is a good early target rather than a reason to delay the Project.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Stage 2: Soaring Menaces

  • 10 Spotter Relay → 3 Vita Spray
  • 3 Expired Respirator → 3 Photoelectric Cloak
  • 20 Wasp Driver → 20 Raider Tokens
  • 15 Hornet Driver → Vita Shot Blueprint

Wasps and Hornets are common. The Photoelectric Cloaks and Vita Shot Blueprint make this another efficient stage.

Stage 3: Ferocious Foes

  • 10 ARC Performance Steel → 1 Kinetic Converter
  • 5 Shredder Gyro → 3 Anvil Splitter
  • 10 Leaper Pulse Unit → 30 Raider Tokens
  • 5 Bastion Cell → Shotgun Silencer Blueprint

Frozen Trail 2.0 changed the Anvil Splitter from a normal mod into an amplified-Anvil upgrade option. Existing Splitters can be sold or recycled into Amplified Fragments for repairing Amplified Weapons, so value this reward as repair material rather than three conventional mods.

Stage 4: Dominant Dangers

  • 10 ARC Synthetic Resin → Bobcat IV
  • 10 Magnetic Accelerator → 5 Wolfpack
  • 8 Rocketeer Driver → 40 Raider Tokens
  • 3 Queen Reactor → Bobcat Blueprint

Do this only with surplus materials. Three Magnetic Accelerators are needed for Gunsmith 4, and the Queen Reactors also support amplification priorities.

Stage 5: Imposing Behemoths

  • 5 Exodus Modules → 2 Snap Hook
  • 3 Geiger Counter → 1 Aphelion
  • 8 Bombardier Cell → 50 Raider Tokens
  • 3 Matriarch Reactor → Snap Hook Blueprint

The completion bundle adds the Howl Emote, Jupiter, Acoustic Guitar, 5 Energy Clip, and 300,000 Coins. Despite its name, the Project does not create a physical trophy case in the room.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

How do you farm the late Trophy Display parts?

Frozen Trail 2.0 moved higher-tier Queen and Matriarch loot onto their legs, so loot the legs rather than only the armor plating. Embark’s update notes say explosives such as Hullcracker do more than 50% more damage to armor plates but about 30% less to fragile parts; choose your target and weapon around the part you need to break.

What is the Expedition Project, and why is it paused?

Expedition is an optional, one-way prestige reset, not a normal raid objective. You build and supply a caravan, sign up during an Expedition Window, and depart when that window closes. The fifth window opened on 8 September 2026 at 11:00 UTC and closed on 29 September at 08:00 UTC. Embark paused the system afterward to rework tight departure windows, reward structure, and access for new players.

Embark’s stated return target is early 2027, with a January target mentioned in the community FAQ; no exact day has been published. Do not start or plan a caravan departure while the Project is paused. Consecutive buffs already earned persist during the pause, and partial caravans were converted rather than lost.

How the Expedition loop worked

  1. Reach level 20 and open the Expedition card.
  2. Construct and supply the six-stage caravan. Items committed to a stage cannot be retrieved.
  3. When an Expedition Window opens, sign up separately. Completing the caravan does not sign you up.
  4. If the caravan is unfinished, its progress is kept for the next window. A Raider can make one departure per window.
  5. After departure, the character reset occurs and permanent metagame rewards are retained.

The original cadence was described as roughly eight weeks, although later windows varied. Historical windows ran from 30 October–22 December 2025, 22 December 2025–2 March 2026, 2 March–11 May 2026, 11 May–21 July 2026, and 21 July–29 September 2026. Future timing and recipes may change, so use the live in-game card rather than an old checklist.

What resets and what stays?

Reset on departure Kept after departure
Stash upgrade progress and inventory items Unlocked maps and Codex entries
Blueprints and Coins Raider Tokens, Merits, Raider Decks or Reward Pass progress
Player level and skill points earned outside Expedition bonuses Cosmetics, achievements, rankings, Trials, leaderboards, and personal event progress
Raider Den, workshop levels, and quests (quest reset became opt-in in Expedition 5) Bonus skill points and bonus stash slots earned from Expeditions

Frozen Trail 2.0 removed Cred and replaced it with Reward Points for the Reward Pass, so older Expedition lists that say Cred persists are outdated. The normal stash maximum is now 328 slots without Expedition or Nomadic Envoy bonuses.

Permanent Expedition rewards

Rewards follow your personal Expedition count, not the global window number. A first-time participant in a later window still receives the Expedition 1 package.

  • Expedition 1: indicator, Patchwork Raider outfit part 1/3, Scrappy Janitor Cap, 12 stash slots, and up to 5 skill points.
  • Expedition 2: evolved Patchwork with four toggles and Beige Orange/Yellow colors, Scrappy Beanie, another 12 stash slots (24 total), and catch-up for missed Expedition 1 points.
  • Expedition 3: completed Patchwork with Helmet, Bandolier, Leg Accessories, Mask, and Goggles, White Red and Black Green colors, Scrappy Turban, another 12 stash slots, and catch-up.
  • Expedition 4: Zenith outfit part 1/2, another 12 stash slots (48 extra after four), and five Mystery Reward thresholds.
  • Expedition 5: Zenith outfit part 2/2, another 12 slots for a 60-slot Expedition maximum, and Mystery Rewards again.

Expedition bonus skill points cap at 15. The main challenge from Expedition 3 used damage thresholds of 5,000, 10,000, 30,000, 50,000, and 100,000 for one through five points. Damage from any weapon or gadget against any target counted except the practice range. Embark compared 100,000 damage with roughly 20 Bastions and reported that 8,000–10,000 damage was achievable in a very good round. Catch-up for skill points missed on Expeditions you actually departed used 300,000 Coins of stash value per point; you cannot recover points from a window for which you never signed up.

Expeditions 4 and 5 replaced those challenge points with five duplicate-protected, temporary high-end Blueprints and 150 Raider Tokens per threshold, or 750 Tokens if all five were earned. The temporary Blueprints reset on the next departure, while the Tokens remain.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Temporary consecutive buffs

These buffs last until the next departure and drop if you miss a window; they stack to three levels. The current wiki presents repair as +10% per completion to a maximum of +30%, XP as 5%/10%/15%, and Scrappy materials as 6%/12%/18%. An official Expedition announcement instead described repair value totals of 60%/70%/80%, while matching the XP and Scrappy figures. Embark has not published arithmetic reconciling those repair descriptions, so do not treat them as interchangeable.

What happened to paused caravan materials?

Partial caravans were converted from the announced Ermal Vouchers into equal-value Bronze Statuettes in-game. The Expedition Vault was disabled, stored items moved to the stash, and purchased vault slots were compensated with Bronze Statuettes. Cassie now runs the Nomadic Envoys stall after Ermal’s departure; check her current offers before selling or spending statuettes.

Which Project should you complete first?

  1. Finish Sheltered Retreat. Bring a camera, collect its building materials, and unlock Outpost and Research Station access.
  2. Finish Soul’s Offering before 16 November 2026. It is short, inexpensive, and does not consume Queen or Matriarch Reactors.
  3. Complete Trophy Display stages 1 and 2. Small ARC and airborne-machine parts are relatively easy to collect.
  4. Raise the Outpost and Gunsmith to the point you need. Reserve at least three Magnetic Accelerators for Gunsmith 4 before paying Trophy Display stage 4’s ten.
  5. Take Trophy Display stage 3 when you have surplus. Bastion Cells, Leaper Pulse Units, and Shredder Gyros are more situational than the early-stage parts.
  6. Leave stages 4 and 5 for last. Submit Queen Reactors, Matriarch Reactors, Exodus Modules, and Magnetic Accelerators only after amplification needs are covered or duplicates are accumulating.
  7. Ignore Expedition departure planning until its 2027 return. Its reset rules and recipes may be revised.

How can you make Project progress without wasting raids?

  • Check the active card before launching so one Topside trip can satisfy several compatible objectives.
  • Keep donation items in a clearly marked stash area; a contribution disappears as soon as it is committed.
  • For action stages, equip the camera or the weapon class needed before loading into the map.
  • Do not use old caravan shopping lists as current requirements. Expedition recipes changed every cycle, and the next version is being redesigned.
  • For coin farming unrelated to an active Expedition, older guides recommend inexpensive Free Loadouts, high-value Stella Montis routes, Security Lockers and locked rooms, prioritizing trinkets, and extracting after 10–15 minutes instead of forcing a full raid. Those tactics do not create an Expedition departure while the system is paused.
  • Frozen Trail changed the skill tree to binary mid-branch choices and pick-two-of-three end nodes. Recheck the current tree before spending points rather than following launch-era builds.

Which Projects are already closed?

These tracks are historical, not available for new contributions: Flickering Flames (16 December 2025–13 January 2026), Weather Monitor System (24 February–31 March 2026), High-Gain Antenna (31 March–27 April 2026), Avian Alarm (28 April–25 May 2026), Converging Paths (16 June–28 July 2026), Phantom Targets (4 August–6 September 2026), Ascending the Mountain (8 September–7 October 2026), and Expedition windows 1–5 (30 October 2025–29 September 2026). Breaking New Ground, Shared Watch, Last Resort/Miniature Voyages, and Forgotten Relics are related events that are not consistently classified as Projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Trophy Display progress survive an Expedition reset?

Yes. Trophy Display was specifically built to persist through Expedition resets, unlike your inventory, blueprints, Coins, workshop levels, and character level. You still lose any donation items already committed before the reset, so submit only when the stage is ready to claim.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Is the Outpost a playable physical room in Frozen Trail 2.0?

No. The Outpost is managed through menus in the current version rather than explored as a walkable space. Its value is progression: room and floor levels unlock furniture Designs and feed Research Station upgrades.

Do I receive Expedition rewards based on the server-wide Expedition number?

No. Rewards use your personal departure count. Someone making a first departure during a future window receives the Expedition 1 cosmetics and stash package, even if the server is on a later global cycle.

What should I do if an old guide says my Expedition stash rewards include Cred?

Treat that wording as obsolete after Frozen Trail 2.0. Cred was removed and Reward Points now serve the Reward Pass; rely on the current Project card and patch notes for any currency or reward description.
