Instead of GenToon
GenToon alternatives
GenToon turns written stories into four-panel comics, vertical-scroll webtoons and instatoons while AI selects layouts, writes dialogue and places speech bubbles. It offers more than 1,500 art styles, four aspect-ratio choices, 21 languages and character faces that stay consistent across episodes and styles. New accounts receive 150 credits without a card. The service works on web, iOS and Android, and paid plans start at $10 per month. Its stated exports are Instagram, Twitter/X and a shareable link.

Another product may fit better if you want to arrange panels yourself, start from sketches or reference images, create longer page sequences, or export PDF, PNG, SVG or editable project files. GenToon’s monthly credit plans and AI-led workflow may not suit creators who prefer a free manual editor or need print-oriented output. Compare automation with editing control, available inputs, page and panel formats, export options, platform coverage and subscription cost before switching.
