In Anime Galaxies | UPDATE 0, your best start is to redeem the lobby codes, build a five-unit team with both economy and anti-air coverage, then clear normal Story stages before spending heavily on upgrades. You do not need a Secret or Mythic to begin earning rewards. This guide is for the Champions TD game at Place ID 83869074416117; similarly named Roblox games use different units and codes.
What is Anime Galaxies?
Anime Galaxies is a free-to-play Roblox strategy and tower-defense game from Champions TD. Enemies follow a highlighted path while you place units as towers, defeat waves, and use the Cash earned from kills and wave clears to upgrade your defense mid-match. Between matches, stage rewards and other activities provide resources for summoning and improving units.

The lobby character-select option is cosmetic; it does not choose the units you will use in combat. Your combat lineup is built separately and has five slots, so coverage matters more than filling it with the highest rarities you own.

What should I do first in Anime Galaxies?
Use this order for your first session: claim available codes, summon only after the Gems arrive, make a balanced five-unit team, and start normal Story. That sequence gives you resources and a chance to learn the stage threats before you attempt more demanding modes.
- Confirm the game. Check for Place ID 83869074416117 and the Champions TD listing.
- Redeem codes in the lobby. Go to the Codes Fountain near Challenges and to the left of Summon. Paste codes there; the Roblox website’s general redeem page is not the in-game code box.
- Check your HUD, then summon. Wait until Gems appear, then read the banner’s current prices, featured units, and rates. The banner rotates, and community recaps of pull costs are not a substitute for the live shop.
- Equip coverage, not just rarity. Aim for an economy unit, air coverage, a main ground attacker, control, and a flexible fifth slot.
- Queue normal Story. Learn the path and wave types, and claim first-clear rewards. Watch at least one run before relying on Auto-play.
- Use speed and automation once the defense is reliable. The free 2x speed is useful for farming. Add auto-start or auto-skip only after you know the team can handle the waves.
The practical opening goal is not to chase a Secret at any cost. As the Anime Galaxies Wiki’s beginner guide puts it, “Your first goal is not a Secret unit. It is enough resources and team coverage to start earning stage rewards.” A successful Story clear is more useful than an ambitious pull or a failed high-difficulty run.
What makes a good beginner team?
A beginner team needs a way to pay for its defense and a way to hit flying enemies, alongside enough damage and control to handle ground waves. Community guides describe five combat slots; a five-unit lineup that covers those jobs is usually a stronger start than five expensive ground attackers.

Early: Spedwag, Foji, your strongest Legendary damage unit, and two fillers is a sensible target. Community recaps report early Story clears with Legendary-heavy teams, so a Mythic is not a prerequisite.
Midgame: Keep Spedwag and Foji, then add damage and control such as Megomu and a stronger attacker such as Ishgo (Perfect Mask), if available. Keep the hybrid slot even as the rest of the roster improves.
Later: Roger (Pirate King), Sokonu (King), Goju, or Stork (Resurrection) are among the high-rarity units community PvE guides highlight. If Goju is on the team, retain a separate unit that can hit air. A lineup of Roger, Goju, Stork, and fillers can still leak flying waves if it lacks Foji, Jiren, or another hybrid.

Pro Game Guides’ Update 0 PvE write-up describes Roger as a buffing unit with shield bypass, Sokonu as a wave-damage option, Stork as an area-of-effect attacker, Spedwag as an economy unit, and Foji as air-and-ground coverage with Slow. Its tier list also includes provisional Update 0 placements for Ultra Gowko, Freezo, Demon King, Zenith (Sleeping), and Tango; those newer placements should be treated as provisional rather than as a guarantee of a unit’s performance in every mode.
Some specific kit details reported by Pro Game Guides help explain the roles. Roger’s Captain of the Seas aura gives nearby allies 10% damage, and overlapping Roger auras do not stack; he also has a reported 2.5-second stun on a 12-second trigger cooldown, shield bypass, and a 150% damage follow-up every fifth attack that splashes within 6 studs. Foji hits both air and ground and can apply a reported 60% Slow for three seconds, with the effect capped at once every six seconds. Goju’s reported Reversal Burst deals an 80% follow-up every fourth attack with a 6-stud splash; Infinite Distance deals 6% of his damage each second to enemies in the inner 40% of his range. These are community-reported kit details, not an official developer stat table.
Rarity rankings can help you decide what to keep, but they are not a team plan. Community lists name Roger and Sokonu among Secret options; Ishgo, Goju, and Stork among Mythics; and Foji as a useful Legendary. They also identify Gen, Kitzaru, Natzo, and Kizua as progression fillers, with early combat Epics such as Gowko, Itodoki, Hippo, and Vegira. Replace weaker fillers as your account grows, but do not sacrifice the only unit that handles air just to add another high-rarity ground attacker.
How do in-match upgrades and Auto-play work?
During a match, enemies and cleared waves pay Cash, which you spend on placements and unit upgrades. Placement and Cash allocation are the key decisions: an early farm can improve your future budget, but investing in economy before you have enough damage can let enemies reach the base.

- Farms first is the usual Story starting choice when you want Spedwag deployed before your carry. If enemies leak toward the base, try a back placement or adjust the defense rather than blindly adding more farm investment.
- Focus upgrades concentrate Cash on one carry. Use this when one unit supplies most of your damage.
- Spread upgrades level affordable units more evenly. This can help when several attackers need to cover different threats, including mixed air and ground waves.
- Auto-play can automate supported deployment and upgrades, but it still depends on a capable team and suitable settings. Watch a first run and confirm the settings match your plan.
Movement uses WASD, jumping uses Spacebar, interaction uses E, and the mouse operates the interface, according to Sportskeeda’s 2026 controls summary. Change one Auto-play setting at a time after a failed run. If you change placement, upgrade priority, and team simultaneously, it is harder to tell what caused the result.
How should you progress through the modes?
Start with Story first-clears, then move to harder farming and timed activities once your team is reliable. Choose a mode to address your current bottleneck—Gems, coins, or a particular material—rather than assuming the hardest available activity pays best for your account.

For most new accounts, the safest progression is Story → Nightmare → Challenges → Raids or Endless. The mode overview in Sportskeeda’s guide similarly positions Story for beginners, Challenges for progression items, Endless for testing loadouts, and Raids for endgame rewards. A completed Story first-clear is a better investment than an unsuccessful Nightmare or Endless attempt.
How do summons, codes, and Gems fit into progression?
Rotating banners are the main reported route to Mythic, Secret, and Shiny units. Gems also come from Story first-clears, quests, and codes; later modes and other rewards add more routes. Battle-pass rewards, stage drops, Event Capsules, and some raid or Endless routes are additional ways reported by community guides.
Community wiki recaps list a 10-pull at 380 Gems, or 304 with VIP’s reported 20% discount. Treat both figures as unverified until the live shop displays them. The same caution applies to banner rates and featured units: this research did not find a complete official drop-rate table, so read the current banner rather than relying on an old recap. Gems may be relatively accessible to newcomers through stages and quests, but high-rarity pulls can still take many summons.
As of 29 October 2026, Sportskeeda and Beebom’s updated lists and Dexerto’s 28 October list agreed on these ten active codes and rewards. Codes can expire without notice, some require a minimum level, and the HUD is final if an older guide lists a different payout.

To redeem, walk to the Codes Fountain in the lobby, paste a code exactly as shown, and submit it once per account. The codes are case-sensitive. A level-locked code can fail because the account is below its required level, not because it was mistyped. Community lists have disagreed on older rewards—for example, some recaps listed 1KCCU as 5,000 Gems—so check the reward shown in the game.
Code labels such as 3KCCU are promotional names, not verified current player-count statistics. No official concurrent-user, revenue, pity-rate, or complete drop-rate figure was available in the cited material.
When should you spend Trait Crystals?
Traits are passive bonuses, and community guides describe their progression as a milestone track: spend Trait Crystals on a unit, fill its meter, then choose a trait from the available rarity rather than rolling a random selection at the threshold. Stage clears and battle-pass levels are reported sources of Trait Crystals. Spend on units you expect to keep, not temporary fillers.
There is an important live-game discrepancy: Sportskeeda’s 29 October 2026 guide lists the Mythic Trait threshold at 500 Trait Crystals, while ofzenandcomputing’s 18 October guide lists 400. Both list 10 for Rare, 30 for Epic, and 100 for Legendary. Community wiki notes also mark the 400-versus-500 difference as unverified. The in-game Trait interface—not either printed guide—should determine how much a Mythic track costs on your account.

Think about how you deploy the unit before choosing. Galactic is the raw-damage option for a single placed carry, but its one-placement cap makes it a poor fit if you rely on multiple copies. Chosen trades Galactic’s large damage increase for a more balanced combination of damage, cooldown, and range. Sportskeeda calls Galactic the best Trait in the game; that is a guide’s judgment, not a universal rule for every team.
For early investments, Enraged is a straightforward damage choice on a keeper. If Bounty Hunter appears in Spedwag’s available Trait bucket, its farm-only earning bonus suits his economy role; a combat-focused Trait may be wasted on a unit whose main job is funding the team. Perceptive can help as an XP step, but it is not a direct endgame combat bonus. ofzenandcomputing also cautions that cooldown Traits do not shorten separate fixed “every N seconds” passive timers.
Do not begin a Mythic Trait track on a filler such as Gen, Kitzaru, Natzo, Kizua, or Vegira unless you have a specific reason to keep that unit. The high threshold makes an early mistake expensive, and the game already offers useful progression without turning every unit into a long-term project.

The Anime Galaxies Wiki relays these DNA amounts from player footage, but the live tables are unverified: a duplicate summon reportedly gives 1 DNA; a Normal Story victory, 2–5; Nightmare, 10–20; a Challenge, 15–25; and a Raid, 25–40. Footage also reports that the Speedwag gold shop near Summon sells 10 DNA for 8,000 coins. A beginner recap flags an evolution-related coin sink of around 100,000, also unverified. These are planning estimates, not official guarantees; check the current shop and recipe before spending, especially if you still need catalysts or essences.
Stat Tokens reroll a unit’s stat spread; footage cited by Sportskeeda shows damage, cooldown, and range among the stats. Stat Locks can preserve a chosen stat while other stats reroll, while Perfect Atom appears in footage as another enhancement resource. Save locks and scarce enhancers for keepers, and read the live Stat Station’s lock behavior before confirming a spend.
What are the common beginner mistakes?
- Redeeming in the wrong place. The codes go into the lobby Codes Fountain, not the general Roblox redemption page. Confirm the Place ID before entering anything.
- Summoning before claiming codes. Claiming first puts the free Gems and resources on your account before you decide how to use a rotating banner.
- Building a ground-only lineup. Goju is a strong ground carry, but he does not cover air. Preserve a hybrid unit such as Foji, Jiren, or another confirmed air attacker.
- Skipping Spedwag because he is Epic. His economy role can help fund placements and upgrades; rarity alone does not measure team value.
- Spending Mythic resources on temporary fillers. Save scarce Trait and stat resources for units you expect to keep.
- Jumping to Nightmare or Endless too early. First-clear normal Story and build a reliable defense before trading dependable rewards for a failed harder run.
- Buying evolution materials before checking the recipe. A missing Essence or catalyst can strand coins in an incomplete upgrade.
- Treating a code rejection as proof of a typo. Check spelling, expiry, and level requirements; level-locked codes may reject a correct entry.
- Changing every Auto-play setting after one loss. Adjust one variable at a time so you can identify the actual weakness.
Anime Galaxies is free to play according to Sportskeeda’s October 2026 FAQ, which describes paid elements as optional. You can follow the core progression without assuming a premium purchase is required; the official listing also promotes liking and favoriting the game for updates and joining the Champions TD group for exclusive perks. Community pages disagree about which Discord invite is current, so use the in-game Discord button if available or start from the Champions TD Roblox group listing rather than trusting an unverified invite.
