Tenebris Somnia has four ending achievements: SOLVE ET COAGULA, MAGNUM OPUS, RENUNTIATIO, and VIVUS EX MORTIBUS. The first two branch after Julia forges the Aurifer: spare every Relicta ghost for SOLVE ET COAGULA, or kill at least one Relicta with the Aurifer for MAGNUM OPUS. After recording both main endings, start a fresh game for the two hidden routes. RENUNTIATIO is an immediate lobby escape using the Apartment Key, while VIVUS EX MORTIBUS requires the Bible, three missable encounters, three Iron Crosses and the church sequence.
How many endings does Tenebris Somnia have?
There are four ending achievements. Two are late-game branches on the Aurifer route; the other two are available only in a new game after both main endings have been recorded.

How do I get SOLVE ET COAGULA?
Forge the Aurifer, then finish the final route without killing any Relicta ghost with it. Passing the ghosts rather than attacking them preserves the no-kill branch. Complete the finale to unlock SOLVE ET COAGULA, the route associated by walkthroughs with Lacuna.
How do I get MAGNUM OPUS?
Forge the Aurifer and use it to kill at least one Relicta ghost. You do not need to kill every Relicta; the documented condition is one or more Aurifer kills. Continue through the finale to receive MAGNUM OPUS, the branch associated by walkthroughs with Hermes.

Can I get both main endings in one playthrough?
Yes. Create a manual save immediately before your first Aurifer Relicta kill. Complete the untouched save on the no-kill route for SOLVE ET COAGULA. Reload that save, kill one Relicta with the Aurifer, and finish again for MAGNUM OPUS.
- Forge the Aurifer and stop before the first encounter where you could kill a Relicta.
- Save in a separate slot so the no-kill state remains intact.
- Finish without killing a Relicta to earn SOLVE ET COAGULA.
- Reload the pre-kill save, kill one Relicta with the Aurifer, and finish the alternate route.
How do I unlock RENUNTIATIO?
After both main-ending achievements are recorded, start a new game. In the ground-floor lobby, select the Apartment Key and use it on the building’s glass front door before entering the elevator. Julia walks away and the short ending plays; the Bible, church route and a boss fight are not needed.

Begin a fresh game after completing both main endings. Take the Bible from the opening lobby table and complete three hidden encounters in order. Each encounter must happen before you solve its ordinary puzzle; solving that puzzle first can remove the opportunity for the current run.

1. Floor 2 apartment: TV puzzle
Use the Bible, stand on the Mars/male floor symbol and run counterclockwise around the symbol circle six times. Survive the encounter and take its Iron Cross before solving the normal TV puzzle.
2. Floor 1 community center: projector lock
Use the Bible at the projector lock and enter 6666. Survive the red-room encounter and collect the second Iron Cross before opening the lock through its ordinary solution.
3. Ground-floor green cinematography room
Before passing through the Copper Key door, use the Bible, connect the yellow RCA cable to the camera and cycle through the camera scenes until the encounter appears. Survive it and collect the third Iron Cross.

4. The church route
On floor 3, use the blue door to the left of the elevator to reach the street. Place all three Iron Crosses at the marked church entrance and continue through the church sequence. The concluding fight is the Amy and Father John encounter; winning it unlocks VIVUS EX MORTIBUS.
What should I do if a hidden encounter does not appear?
Check the order first. The Bible interaction and its encounter must precede the corresponding standard solution: the TV puzzle, projector lock or Copper Key progression. If you solved one of those normally, the safest recovery is to restart that fresh-game route and repeat the sequence before advancing.
What is the most efficient achievement order?
Finish the two Aurifer branches from one pre-kill save, then start a new game for the hidden endings. On that fresh run, RENUNTIATIO can be taken immediately in the lobby; continue the same run for VIVUS EX MORTIBUS only if you are prepared to preserve all three Bible encounters. This minimizes full-story replays while protecting the order-sensitive route.

Are these routes confirmed on every version?
Current walkthrough consensus documents all four achievements for the Windows PC release on Steam. Older guides list only two endings or describe the hidden methods as unknown, so follow the newer cross-checked route instructions rather than assuming an older checklist is complete. No reliable evidence establishes an Amazon physical edition.

Do I have to kill every Relicta for MAGNUM OPUS?
No. The documented trigger is killing at least one Relicta ghost with the Aurifer after it is forged. Additional Relicta kills are not required by the route condition.
When should I pick up the Bible?
Take it from the table in the opening lobby on the fresh game used for the hidden route. The Bible is needed at each of the three special encounter locations.

Can I solve the normal puzzles first and return later?
That can permanently miss the corresponding hidden encounter for that run. Trigger each Bible event before completing the TV puzzle, projector lock or Copper Key progression.
Does RENUNTIATIO require defeating a final boss?
No. Using the Apartment Key on the lobby’s glass entrance door produces the immediate walk-away ending before the elevator route.
