Do I need Dolphin for Melee mods?
You need a compatible GameCube emulator workflow, and many Melee PC setups use Dolphin or a Dolphin-based launcher. Slippi is a common route for standard Melee play and online features, but a mod’s own instructions take priority if they specify a particular build or launcher.
Project Slippi documents support for NTSC-U/J 1.02, controller configuration, replays, and netplay behavior. What is the difference between a clean Melee ISO and a modded ISO?
