You generally can’t download The Zeus Network app directly to a VIZIO Smart TV: Zeus’s official television-device list names Roku 4+, Fire TV and Apple TV, but not VIZIO. The most dependable route is to run Zeus on one of those supported streaming devices connected to your TV by HDMI, then sign in through that device.
Can I get Zeus on VIZIO?
Zeus’s official device and subscription information lists Roku 4+, Fire TV and Apple TV as television viewing platforms. VIZIO is not named in that list, so direct installation from VIZIO Home is not documented there. If Zeus appears in your TV’s available apps, you can check whether it installs and opens; if it does not, use a supported external player rather than assuming the app can be added manually.

VIZIO models differ. For example, VIZIO’s specifications for the D55x-G1 identify it as a SmartCast TV with HDMI inputs. That information applies to that model, not every VIZIO television.

How do I download Zeus Network on my Vizio Smart TV?
These steps run Zeus on a streaming player connected to the TV; they do not install the app on VIZIO itself.

- Check for an existing app. On the VIZIO home screen, look through the available apps for Zeus. If it is not there, proceed with an external player.
- Connect a supported streaming device. Plug a Roku player, Fire TV device or Apple TV into an available HDMI input on the television, then follow the device’s on-screen setup prompts. Zeus lists these as television platforms; the exact app availability can depend on the player model, so check its current app store before buying.
- Install Zeus on the player. Open that device’s app store, search for The Zeus Network, and install the app if it is available for your specific model.
- Open the app and access your account. Launch Zeus and sign in, or subscribe through the service if you do not already have access. Check Zeus’s live subscription information for current terms.
- Select the TV’s matching input. Use the VIZIO remote’s input control to switch to the HDMI port connected to the streaming player.
If you already own a compatible Roku, Fire TV device or Apple TV, you do not need to buy another player. The external device runs the Zeus app, while the VIZIO TV displays its HDMI output.
Which way to watch should I choose?

Can I cast Zeus from my phone to a VIZIO TV?
Possibly, but don’t assume it will work on every VIZIO model. The Zeus device information lists mobile viewing, but that alone does not confirm casting to a VIZIO TV. Roku’s casting guidance says casting requires the mobile app to support the feature and the devices to meet the relevant network conditions. Check for a cast option in the Zeus mobile app and confirm your TV or streaming device supports the method before relying on it.
