Third-party listings describe the 17T as 1.5K AMOLED at 120 Hz. Third-party comparison listings identify a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, with a maximum listed CPU frequency of 3.4 GHz. The store configuration compared here has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. These are published specifications, not independent speed-test results; they suggest the 17T’s stronger processor tier on paper, but do not establish how either phone performs in a particular app or game.

Rear cameras: resolution versus zoom perspective
The Redmi has a 200 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. The Xiaomi 17T is listed with a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera and a 12 MP ultrawide. The Redmi’s main sensor has the higher headline resolution, while the 17T adds a dedicated telephoto perspective for subjects farther away. Megapixel counts alone do not determine overall image quality, and the listed specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos in practice.
Battery and charging
Both phones are listed with 6,500 mAh batteries. Xiaomi specifies 100 W charging for the Redmi and says a 100 W adapter is included in the box; the package also includes a protective case. Gadgets 360 lists 67 W charging for the Xiaomi 17T. A 91mobiles battery test reported 14 hours 45 minutes for the 17T and 14 hours 12 minutes for the Redmi, but the available listing excerpt does not establish the test protocol. Treat that 33-minute difference as that publisher’s result, not a prediction of everyday battery life.

Software and water resistance
Xiaomi’s Redmi specifications page lists HyperOS 3 and IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Gadgets 360 lists Android 15 for the Redmi and Android 16 for the Xiaomi 17T. No official Xiaomi 17T regional specification page was available to confirm its precise software build or update support, so the listings do not establish that the phones have the same software support. Do not assume their water-resistance protections are equivalent; check the official specifications and warranty terms for the exact regional model before purchase.
