The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is the better fit if you prioritize a large display and a higher stated battery capacity; the Nothing Phone (4a) has a more versatile camera layout, including a periscope telephoto camera, and TechRadar’s reviewer preferred Nothing’s cleaner software. Neither is a universal winner. Compare the exact storage variant and current local price: the prices reported below come from different listings and are not a synchronized, like-for-like comparison.
At a glance: what separates the phones?

| Battery and charging | 6,580mAh and 45W wired charging; no wireless charging, according to TechRadar. | TechRadar lists 5,080mAh; Gadgets 360 lists 5,400mAh and 50W charging. The sources differ, so check the exact regional model. |
| Starting price in UK listings | TechRadar lists £349 for 8GB/256GB. | TechRadar lists £349 as a starting price; Nothing’s UK store lists £379 for 8GB/128GB. |
Specifications and prices are attributed to the cited listings; differences can reflect region, configuration or timing. For the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G review, TechRadar says the model launched in January 2026. Do not assume every phone sold under a similar Redmi Note 15 Pro name has the same network support or specifications.

Which phone has the better cameras?
Choose Nothing for zoom flexibility
The Phone (4a)’s three-camera arrangement adds a 50MP periscope telephoto camera to its main and ultrawide cameras. That gives it a dedicated camera for zoomed-in subjects, a capability the Redmi’s listed pair does not include. Nothing advertises “up to 70x ultra zoom” on its UK Phone (4a) product page; this is a manufacturer claim, not independent evidence that images at that magnification retain useful detail.

TechRadar lists a 200MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide on the Redmi. A higher megapixel count does not by itself establish better photos: image quality also depends on processing, optics, lighting and how you use the camera. The available reviews do not establish a controlled, side-by-side camera test of these two phones. Treat the sensor figures as hardware specifications, not a verdict on which takes better pictures.

How do battery, display and performance compare?
Battery and charging
TechRadar gives the Redmi a 6,580mAh battery and 45W wired charging, with no wireless charging. For Nothing, TechRadar’s comparison lists 5,080mAh while Gadgets 360 lists 5,400mAh and 50W charging. Since those Nothing battery figures conflict, verify the specifications for the exact market and model you are buying rather than treating either as universal. Capacity alone also does not establish real-world battery life.
Display and processor
TechRadar’s Redmi specifications list a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel at 2772 × 1280 and 120Hz. Gadgets 360 lists the Nothing’s display as 6.78 inches and 120Hz; its cited comparison does not state display type or resolution. The Redmi therefore has a more completely specified, slightly larger display in the available listings, but the information here is not enough to compare every aspect of panel quality.

The cited listings identify a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra in the Redmi and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in the Nothing. Chip names alone do not show which will feel faster in a particular app or game, and the supplied comparison evidence does not establish a controlled performance contest between them.
Which has the better software experience and support?
TechRadar says the Redmi shipped with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 and lists four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. Its reviewer praised the display and battery but criticized bloatware, ads, pop-ups and intrusive notifications. The same review recommends the Nothing Phone (4a) overall in this price range, citing its simpler, relatively bloat-free software. That is one reviewer’s assessment, not a measured consensus or a claim that every owner will have the same experience.

Gadgets 360 lists the Phone (4a) with Android 16 and Nothing OS 4.1. The cited material does not establish a comparable Nothing update-support duration, so a support-period comparison cannot be made from these figures alone. Check each manufacturer’s current regional support information if the number of years of updates is a deciding factor.
What is the price difference?
For UK pricing, TechRadar’s 2026 comparison lists both phones from £349. Its Redmi listing specifies 8GB/256GB at £349 and 12GB/512GB at £399. Separately, Nothing’s UK store lists the Phone (4a) 8GB/128GB at £379. These are listing snapshots, not one synchronized price check: the storage configurations differ, and the Nothing store price is £30 above TechRadar’s separate starting-price figure.

Availability: check your market before choosing
Availability differs by country and can change. TechRadar says the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is not sold directly in the US and may be imported. Gadgets 360 marks that Redmi model as not launched in India while listing the Nothing Phone (4a) as launched there. Those listings may reflect different market variants or timing, so confirm availability with the manufacturer or an authorized local seller.

Before buying an imported or locally unfamiliar variant, confirm its warranty coverage and compatibility with your carrier’s network bands. A lower online price is less useful if the model lacks local support or service.
How to choose
- Pick the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G if a larger, specified 120Hz AMOLED display and its listed 6,580mAh battery are your priorities, and you are comfortable with the software experience described in TechRadar’s review.
- Pick the Nothing Phone (4a) if you want a dedicated periscope telephoto camera or prefer the cleaner software experience TechRadar’s reviewer describes.
- Wait or compare local offers if the choice turns on price: the cited UK listings use different configurations and were not gathered as a synchronized comparison.
For further specification listings, see 91mobiles’ specs and price comparison and Gadgets 360’s comparison. Their figures should be read with the regional and source differences noted above.
